I don't think that will happen. Atleast, I hope not.
I want her and the inquisitor to be equals in the relationship.
Uh....that's DEFINITELY Cass.
Pride demon looks demonic.
It certainly looks like Cass. Nice close shot of the leg. ![]()
Pride demon looks demonic.
I think this is Cass
Inquisitor: Cassandra, look out!
Cassandra: I have this, Herald. You close the Breach!
Inquisitor: *sad, proud, loving gaze* The Righteous stand before the Darkness! *runs off*
Cassandra: *draws her blade* And the Maker shall guide their hands!....*turns to the Pride Demon* I've killed your kind before. And I've only gotten stronger since.
Pride Demon: *growls, Separates itself into a whole bunch of Pride Demons that surround Cassandra*
Cassandra: You fool......YOU CAN"T ESCAPE ME NOW!!!!!
It will look dead after Cassandra stabs it lol.
Demons can't "die" in the physical world.
They are sent back to the fade upon the destruction of their physical shell.
cass has a nice a** here could slay that demon just by piveting 180°I think this is Cass
Does it have a shell if it came straight through the fade tear?
Does it have a shell if it came straight through the fade tear?
In the demo it looks like the Inquisitor deconstructs them, so probably. Most likely it's just easier to form now.
Does it have a shell if it came straight through the fade tear?
Obviously, its physical body, the very form you witness in the waking world is that shell.
Within the fade everything is just the usage of will, the act of creation, in the physical world things aren't quite so malleable but never the less spirits can craft their own bodies to make themselves solid and anchored.
In fact Shades are merely demons that have done so, but we have witnessed it from many varieties of demons before.
In reality when you banish a demon from the world, all you are doing is destroying the energy they invested in it's creation, it weakens them but the only permanent method of destroying a demon is by killing it within the Fade, a few times usually depending upon its strength and if you want to make it into a wisp or no.
That's my understanding of it anyway.

That sounds like the Daedra...
Did Bioware actually explain this somewhere or are you making a guess?

Bioware has explained the concept of how demons can enter the waking world physically as Shades, but we have seen physical demons beyond shades before either in Media or Gameplay.
So i am assuming that the concept applies to more then just "shades" which are just physical demons in the waking world to begin with, so i applied the same principle to the entire hierarchy.
After we have ran into Pride Demons that were obviously not possessing a corpse or living body and yet were present in the world, perhaps they were summoned, or perhaps they can manifest there, i have few answers to be honest, but i do my have theories.
Wips have been called demons banished back to the Fade since DA:O, Warder sounds correct.
Cassandra was in the Twitch demo. Looking good even when being knocked unconscious a couple of times.
Also apparently has a couple of neat moves to knock enemies off ledges and to their deaths.
Poor demon, it has no idea who it is messing with.
Wonder if Cass is a drinker...
i imagine her a beer drinker but not that american swill the german kind in a pint mugWonder if Cass is a drinker...
Wonder if Cass is a drinker...
I don't think she drinks much, maybe a bit of ale when she is trying to be social.
Which could mean she is a bit of a lightweight when it comes to alcohol, if she isn't use to drink alcohol.
Wonder if Cass is a drinker...
Chances are they'll make everyone, even the Inquisitor, drinkers. They have in past games, ignoring that tons of people don't drink.
