Anyway I think Cassandra drinks. Not to get drunk, but cold ale after hitting the training ground sounds about right. Maybe spirits when it's cold out.

Alcohol after exercise is the single worst thing you can do as it sabotages any gains. Only drink on exercise free days. Drinking alcohol affects your pituitary gland which is responsible for releasing growth hormones which repairs muscular damage and hyper compensation (gains). It also drains the body of important minerals and vitamins plus the yeast helps natural but harmful fungi in your guts grow which then leads to an increase of toxins in your blood.
