Does not seem to age much?

She looks alot older in DA:I than she did in the movie.

Her face in DotS was smooth and pale. Her face in Inquisition is scarred and tan. She has definitely aged.

And yet she is still incredibly sexy

20 years and not being in an anime will do that to a person.

Not at all. A little vulgar perhaps, but you are just vocalising what we are all thinking.

The last thing I want from Cassandras romance is ex-boyfriend drama. Frankly, I still think she's the Thedosian 40-Year-Old Virgin.

Her possibly having sex with someone 20 years ago doesn't really mean that there'd be "ex-boyfriend drama".

I could see that. I don't care if Cassandra is a virgin or not, but I wouldn't think it far fetched if she were. But I agree about the ex-boyfriend drama: no thanks.

We already had the 'ex-lover causes trouble' with Leliana.

I don't think Cass is a virgin, but I don't think she is as experienced as Leliana either.

Well, considering that it was part of Leliana's job... yeah, I think the only person we met who could have more experience than Leliana is Isabela.

Inq: so your a virgin.. i admire that takes dedication

Cass:* blushes* shut up it is none of your concern

Inq: what its understandable... but everyone has needs, id be happy to help*playful yet lewd grin*

Cass: *blushes even harder* dont tempt me inquisitor...

Inq: tempt the right hand of tge divine? Never, you tempt yourself... right*bursts into playful laughter

*Cass beats the the inq and leaves him hanging from the ceiling*

Cass: I said do not tempt me* walks off flustered*

Inq: ill win her heart yet... * passes out*

i don't think she is a virgin.

probably has make out with half the seekers already.

and i would love to see some of my companions' family/ex-partner. We seldom see them. Most of them are single and i find it hard to believe for some/.

Why do some get so defensive about the Galyan thing?

Generally curious

I seriously doubt she has made out with half the seekers.

She is not Isabela.

people like to think they were the "only one" or because galyan was a stereotypical mage that didnt really contribute much in the film.

These are the general reasons

As in that it was probably just a one sided crush?

No that's fine, but when someone brings up that they might have had a relationship some just jump on the defense

One chaste kiss on the cheek does not a boyfriend make.

Yeah, Cassandra strikes me as a person who respects the power actions have over words. Kiss on the cheek? She basically telling him he's okay. IMO, if there was any romantic interest, we would have seen it already... and she would have kissed him on the lips.

And I really don't think an awkward tumble on the ground counts as anything. Seemed to be there for comedic value more than anything. Oh snap, and I just remembered the cave scene, lol, because that wasn't awkward either, right? If Galyan hadn't been so clueless he would have been a creep.

But I guess, that still doesn't determine whether something became of it later. Being the romantic she is, I can actually imagine Cass sneaking off into the Circle to hangout with her BF. Maybe she and Galyan were a thing for a while, but time and occupation meant it could never work.

You know what would be funny?  If it turns out that Cassandra actually had a pretty prosaic love life despite her career.

That scene was ok.

The whole movie felt a little awkward to me. So many staring matches...

I think the blood thing, or lack thereof, is because PG13.

Staring matches are very typical anime, in my experience. Two samurai stare each other down for like 30 second, then charge each other and the fight is over with a single swing... it's actually not that far from the real deal, but it doesn’t translate well in b-grade westernized anime.

But I’m no expert on the matter… I might be off on both accounts (don’t tell).

Have you seen any of DC's New 52 animated movies? Thomas Wayne Batman puts a bullet in Zoom's brain. Flashpoint Diana executes Steve Trevor in a pretty gruesome way with her lasso of truth. And there are the decapitations and severing of appendages. All in one movie which was PG-13. In JL War Diana puts a sword in one of Darkseid's eyes and Flash takes a crowbar to the other. That was PG-13 too.
