Why not though? She's a Seeker, and we have seen Seekers to have Templar training.

Not all Seekers came from the Templars, and we saw Cassandra's story. She was not a Templar.

To be fair, it wouldn't make any sense for Blackwall to have it either

Carver says otherwise.

Seekers occasionally combat mages and demons; it made sense for them to receive templar training sooner or later.

My post above covers this, a personal gripe for me if Blackwall if the Templar

Ultimately the spec seems to fit Cass the most

Lambert, as an Imperial Templar, didn't have the power, as Imperial Templars don't have any anti magic capabilities, so he must have learned it after he joined the Seekers in White Thedas.

Nothing says she can't learn it later.

Templar would make a hell of a lot more sense on Cassandra than Blackwall.

The Seekers hunt down the most especially dangerous apostates that the Templars can't. Why wouldn't they have some kind of anti-magic ability?

Not wanting their best succumbing to the downsides of lyrium consumption is a pretty good reason.

As I said, the Templar spec seems to have been expanded to include anti demon and some party support. So it wouldn't be out of place for Cassandra to learn the Templar spec.

I could see it perhaps being reserved for higher ups, like Cassandra and Lambert. She could have easily learned how to do it.

Because they don't want their best succumbing to the downsides of lyrium consumption is a good reason.

At the cost of probably getting killed early by the apostates you're supposed to hunt...

And considering Cassandra has a hatred for blood mages, its not out of character for her to seek to learn Templar abilities.

I wouldn't be surprised if some Seekers don't have to deal with it

What, so they are like Alistair and magically don't have to intake it for some reason?

It's all good though. My mage'll supply her all the lyrium baby girl needs...

*Remembers those discussions of snorting lyrium off of Cass' ass and breasteses*

I made that suggestion. I'm still holding to it. If I could draw I'd make a picture of my Inquisitor snorting Lyrium of of Cass'.......everwhere. Our rommance theme song would be "your body is a wonderland". ;)

What if she doesn't suffer from the side effects?

She'd have them probably. That said, she could simply have them completely under control. Perhaps, like Evangeline, she'd need a dose of lyrium once a week or so.

An alcoholic that doesn't get drunk is still an alcoholic.

Alistair actually takes some lyium to boost his templar abilities in the comics..........so even Alistair can't resist the lure of that juicy sweet lyrium.

It makes a sound. Regardless who is there or not, the act creates vibrations in the air.

The same could technically go for Alistair and Lambert

You're right. Even the dragon-blooded, elf-blooded, mage-blooded, royal-blooded Alistair has to do it.

Wait the past few posts mention that Cassandra is wearing a blue dress and that she uses lyrium. Is the blue dress for the Orlesian masquerade (can someone provide a pic, I couldn't find it)? And her lyrium usage has been confirmed?

Such possibru new info like this on Cass won't deter me one bit from romancing her in a later run.
