No, that's what happens in the lore to all Templars in old age... they also suffer similar delusions if they stop taking lyrium at any point in their careers, eventually ending up fried out like Samson in DA2.  It's pretty rough, but I find it admirable that they are willing to make such sacrifices to do what must be done... that's the mark of a true hero in my book.  So while there are some negatives attached to this, I feel it... well, at the very least it would make Cass more interesting as a character I guess.  It's better not to think about the long term implications, though...

 

Some has been shown to have control over it though

 

So Cassandra could be one of those people, if she has to

I see Cass' stubbornness getting her into that minority percent, but who knows.
No one's life has a happy ending, we all end up frail and dead at some point.

I know dat feel, my fem Inquisy will have blue balls around Cass throughout the game. :unsure:  Blue boobies is the fem version I suppose. :blush:
