Thanks to your name I always assumed you were a fish, and therefore gender was of no concern to us hu-mons.
Who says you were wrong? I clarified gender, but never species. ![]()

Okay, now I'm sure she won't die in the first chapter.
Hi, does anyone know what are the original dimensions for that art on the elevator?
Because in this article the picture is kinda small:
http://theworkofcasp...eauty_2687.html
Did they use a special upscaler to make it large enough to fit on the elevator doors or is that actually the original size?! If the latter, then I am amazed because it must be really hard and lengthy to draw something that huge.

I would guess 7 feet high and 2 maybe 2 1/2 wide.
I don't think Cassandra can be a Reaver Because otherwise Bull will be either a templar or a champion, and I can't honestly see him being either (and he was a reaver in the E3 demo).
I understand why some people might have a problem with her being one, though as far as my knowledge goes 'junkie' is generally used as an insult and recall a person who only thinks about the next Shot of drugs (if I'm wrong, I apologize), which in the case of the templars it happens only if you stop using lyrium. The side-effect of prolonged use are generally on their intelligence.
Though it's worth recalling that Not all Templars suffer from side-effects. Gregoir was definitely using it, he is/was a very Old Man who was a templar for a very long time, and he was fine. Lambert might've been using lyrium for a long time too.
We know Iron Bull is the Reaver. You see it in the E3 demo.
As for the junkie part: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Junkie
So by this definition, she is one if she is a Templar.
I know. I was referring to the user who suggested such.We know Iron Bull is the Reaver. You see it in the E3 demo.

Eh, Cass would be as much of a "junkie" for needing lyrium as a diabetic is a junkie for needing insulin.
Unless she's selling all the furniture from Skyhold to get her fix. When she sells my throne, it's time for an intervention!
I know. I was referring to the user who suggested such.
Fair enough, so junkie (in regards of drugs) isn't seen as more negative then addict in english.
I know. I was said user who suggested she was.
I'm sure the negativity varies depending on conversation circles, thus probably where the miscommunication occurred.

lol... you're right. It's more like medicine than anything else. It's not like this is recreational or anything.
Ah, ok. I recalled One user mentioning the Reaver thing related to her anger issues, and you responding on that. I forgot your first post on the Reaver thing, most likely.I know. I was said user who suggested she was.
It was just a wild theory... :/ Cassandra drinking dragon's blood sounds cooler than undergoing basic Templar training to me...

Diabetics need insulin to live and are more negatives than positives if they don't take it.
Templars need it to do a job and are more negatives than positives if they do take it.
So there is a difference.
It was just a wild theory... :/ Cassandra drinking dragon's blood sounds cooler than undergoing basic Templar training to me...
Makes sense considering she is from a family of dragon slayers.
Kallen can get snippy about things shes sour about but don't take it personally. She doesn't mean to be bitter.
*hugs* Kallen *hugs*

I wouldn't call it a medicine, considering there's no need to start using it for your survival. Though There might be Templars who don't know about the side-effects before starting assuming it.
...
What would you call it then? A performance enhancing drug? If we are going to go by strict definitions, then that would be the term to use. The point is that it's not a recreational drug used to get high, so calling Cassandra a "junkie" ("junk" being a slang for heroin) is a stretch. That word almost always carries negative connotation, although it might not in certain countries...
I think it's open to interpretation if there's more negative Then positive things, expecially because it's possible to not suffer from any side-effects at all.Diabetics need insulin to live and are more negatives than positives if they don't take it.
Templars need it to do a job and are more negatives than positives if they do take it.

Yeah, that was me being sarcastic by mimicking what someone said to me earlier.

Exactly.

Well, there are only so many blows one can take.
*returns hug*
I didn't say That lyrium is a recreational drug or that Cass takes it to get high, since I don't agree with this definition...

Lyrium would be a controlled substance, which still falls under the definition of junkie that I provided.

Not really. they seem to have retconned it so the side effects are more universal.

. It's still not a medicine, since it's not meant to cure someone.
We can call lyrium potions a PED then, like steroids. Is that fair?
Junk is slang for Heroin? Really? Shows how much I know about drugs. I shall stick to naughty thoughts.

Well, it was in the '80's... probably not anymore, but I wouldn't really know.
Lyrium would be a controlled substance, which still falls under the definition of junkie that I provided.

How so? The side-effects are generally present when you stop using it. There's nothing that say that assuming lyrium will definitely Lead to side-effects, since Gregoir, Lambert and comic Alistair don't suffer from assuming lyrium.Lyrium would be a controlled substance, which still falls under the definition of junkie that I provided.

Sure.We can call lyrium potions a PED then, like steroids. Is that fair?
