And what is Sera?
based on personality, and demeanor i'd say she's Grace Choi, but an Elf, and not as tall/muscular, but still her.

Not sure how old this is, but someone shopped the first image we got of Cass last year. Looks 10x better:

The second picture looks like an improvement to me.

That her? I'm in love.
I would've been fine with the photoshopped one if all it did was reduce the cheekbones
the second pic just makes her look younger and like a animal character
Hehehehe. Animal.

that's her, tough, conceals her softer side, but is just one of the guys when shes with her mates. She was a great character when i first read her. I can't say the writers kept her the same but i have fond memories of Grace from the early outsiders comics. (She's the one with red hair by the way.)

iconic grace in my mind. She was a complex character to me, it's just hard to narrow down in so few words how complex.

Wow, she looks sooooo much better in the second pic. Making her not look unattractive anymore with just a few changes gives me hope that someone will mod her in such a way, despite the game using a engine, which is difficult to mod. Thanks for the screen!
Hehehehe. Animal.
Also, it should be worth saying that Cassandra looked like in the first pic only in the E3 2013 trailer.
She did look a bit different in the latest gameplay demos we saw.

Exactly.
I think she is gonna look great.
On the subject of lyrium addiction, I'm not too worried about it. Morrigan, Wynne, Alistair, Merrill, Anders, Cullen, Vivienne, Solas, Dorian, and now Cassandra--We've had plenty of companions who would have suffered from it, and many of them were pretty cool people (notable exception- Anders)

To be fair, Ander's issues had little to nothing to do with Lyrium addiction.
As for Cassandra, whether or not she's addicted to Lyrium is irrelevant to me.
OFF topic: OMG... Matt Rhodes just liked my comment #Bestartistever !!
I hope the second one is just fan made, she looks much better in the first.
The wicked cannot stand before her righteous jawline.
'shopped Cassandra:
Spoiler
What bothers me about these modifications is they're not natural. The three main factors behind her look in the original are her expression, the camera angle, and the lighting. Whoever has augmented this image has attempted to "undo" the angle, her expression, and the lighting. Ergo it looks unnatural and kind of terrible.
One must remember the original image was not an accident, when Bioware picked that shot it was because there were several elements working together to emphasise the very strong and pronounced features she has: jaw, cheeks, sharp angles, etc.
Whoever shopped this needs to go back to school.
Lighting and angle looks fine in the 2nd pic. I think you're really reaching with that one. I don't see what's so unnatural about her look in the 2nd pic. Granted there's nothing wrong with the first pic, but the 2nd pic looks more attractive.

Nah, her jaw is too wide.

Agreed.
I just wanna be clear. I'm satisfied with Cassandra's look in game, and happy with the work Bioware has done with her so far. But if I'm being honest, that shopped image is easier on the eyes.

I'll agree with that as well... I mean, Cassandra looks fine (not good, not great, just "fine"), but the idea that the photoshopped image is poorly crafted or that it makes her look like an anime character sounds like unfair criticism to defend personal taste. I personally prefer the second... I'm not seeing any of the flaws others claim exist.
