Yeah considering the other companions there are Varric(who is not an LI) and Solas(who is female elf only), that foursome idea is not happening. 

 

I'd say Cassandra would be the one most opposed to the idea, by the way. xD

That reminds me. This along with many other footage and screenshots seem to show Varric and Cass in the same party most of the time which means that we might get Varric at the same time or right after recruiting Cass. The question is whether Vivienne or Solas will be the first mage recruited.

I don't know. Haven't seen anything that said one way or the other though I could be wrong. Varric's appearance in the game definitely seems like an early one though...

Eh, as far as we know, Cassandra just let herself into the Inquisitor's private room to inform him two rifts were discovered and that is just the Quest info.
 

edit, Altough that wouldn't explain the healt bars.

@jazz legend: No, I recognize that stance form a gameplay video - the arms weirdly sticking out in an angle rather than resting naturally and the tension on the wrists, artificially and uncomfortably ladylike overall. But I may be wrong, we'll find out on release.

She could be in the middle of a motion. I know some Mass Effect characters did that rather than standing idle. The best being Legion occasionally doing The Robot.

I think they are with Cassandra. The Inquisition already exists before meeting you. The people with Cassandra in DA2 were Inquisition members.
