Cassandra's someone who's dedicated herself to a specific order and a fairly specific cause. Diana, like most superheroes, is a more general purpose do-gooder.
Diana's pragmatic nature comes from her being a fish out of temporal water, raised in a society with ancient moral values. Cassandra's comes from being a realist in a harsh world.
Diana's nature is highly tied to myth and mythology, Cassandra, well, isn't.
I don't dislike Wonder Woman as a character; I think she's one of the worst utilized characters DC has, but that's actually out of thinking she should get better than they've given her. But the similarities between her and Cassandra are very, very broadstrokes.
