I think they have actually made her more androgynous than feminine.
Which still means they added more feminine elements or removed some masculine elements...
Mhh...

I like the new look, though the scar being gone is a little disappointing.
The one on her cheek might still be there, just fainter, but it looks like the eyebrow-scar is definitely gone.

Yeah i can actually see that.
Did she lose her tan?

There is nothing wrong with women who combine both feminity and masculinity
Lack of women, who prefer being rough, who have sharp angles in the design, and don't have to have a hidden soft side on the other hand...

That's my twohanded warrior maiden. putting the hammer down.. so to speak.
I think she still looks good. She looked good before and still does. She does look a little different, though. I can't wait to play this game. My Cadash warrior is gonna romance the heck outta her ![]()
TBH I couldn't care less whether she looks more feminine now, more masculine or more androgynous. All I know is she still looks hawt and at least one of my Inquisitors will greatly enjoy holding hands with her. Naked.
Well thank the Maker I lost interest on Cassandra, she was my favorite character when they showed the video during 2013. I notice they even change the way she walks, so not much surprise about her having more soft features.
I would be a lot more ****** off with this change if I cared about her character. The only thing that sucks, is they are trying to turn a supposedly hard fighter into a fashion model, humm last time was Ash, so this is not really new.
Personally, I think BioWare found a great blend of femininity and toughness for Cassandra.
Say what you will about her face (and walking animation, as some have pointed out, which I don't understand), but she's neither overly sexualized nor overly masculine. I believe those were the two most common concerns among us Pentaghastals (at least from different "factions").
She looks beautiful and tough, in my opinion. I do miss the scar, though.
Yep, I like how Cassandra looks now. Her face used to throw me off. Now it is a perfect blend of femininity and badassery.
As for Cassandra doing it while there is a sermon....Bah...That's for Newbquisitior. A Swagquisitor would sneak into the Chantry with Cassandra in the middle of the night and have really loud and really passionate lovemaking.

Ah overreactions before the game is even out, classic bsn

I'm still planning on romancing Cassandra with my Adaar (I'm not sure we'll have another chance of a female warrior LI any time soon) but it's pretty disappointing if they try to pull another Ashley. Even if just in smaller details
Also on the point of women who combine femininity with masculinity. Why on earth would anyone even suggest that? That rings of slapping the womens movement directly in the face for lack of caring. I'm a man, very secure in my masculinity, and even I do not make the mistake of considering strength being wholly masculine, that is a very wrong way to think, and women have been trying to destroy that line of thinking period. It is not masculine to defend ones home, or take up arms in the name of justice. Cassandra from what we know is a woman, it's how she chooses to define herself, it's what sex she chooses to acknowledge herself as, if she at some point in the game or in the lore decides that she more closely identifies herself as a man, then so be it. We are actually arguing a woman's gender association, or qualities simply because how she moves in game? come on lets not be so short sighted guys, we play Dragon Age here, a game in which many social deviations in our society aren't necessarily crossing over into this game world, no need to be so narrow sighted.
I like your thinking.
My perversion level can rival and surpass that of Basement Cat's....
Also as Herald of Andraste, my Swagquisitor playthrough will be filled with him offering the blessings of His Eminence's scepter....Because well, he is the Herald and its up to him to spread the word of Andraste...by any means necessary... ![]()

Look at Korra from Legend of Korra as a good example of a woman who is quite feminine looking in the face yet is quite strong and fit looking without being overly masculine.

They did nothing of the sort. They just made her more feminine looking. She still looks plenty tough looking and if I was a woman I'd find it insulting that for a woman to look tough they have to have a more masculine look.

You do realize that we use terms "femininity" and "masculinity" not because we believe they define the absoulte truth but because they contain a number of features which makes it easier to use in a conversation for easier understanding? And the the soceity actively uses them in this way, promotes what they are supposed to mean etc
Not to mention we aren't talking about sexuality. We're talking about gender and that due to how our culture works women who possess stereotypically masculine traits are considered "ugly" and "unacceptable", which results in a terrible lack of such characters and prettification of the existing ones
Which is a problem, not existance of feminine women, but lack of unfeminine ones
Oh please, her changes are nothing compared to how they changed Ash.
The moment when people are start comparing Cass to Ash is when I can't take them serious
