What in the world? I mean, how does that not fall off constantly?

So.... I guess I should not watch Dawn of the Seeker then?

The main reason I haven't already is because the artstyle kind of puts me off a little.

It's a silly action cartoon. It didn't bother me, though some of the liberties they took with the setting were amusing.

Like... a hundred golems suddenly appear and Cassandra takes down a dozen before her partner has to drag her away. We never see the golems again. And the ending has an army of blood mages fighting with staves (not magic) against an army of Seekers with swords.

Do you see Cassandra as lawful evil?

She has an agreeable mindset to adapt to it i think.

That said i view her as lawful neutral.

I think my first planned Inquisitor and her would get along marvelously.

They could go on sprees of random violence against Mages, spreading the chant of light and possibly sitting her fine posterior on a throne.

:P Of course lawful evil children would follow.

Cassandra lawful evil? Hell nah. And random violence against mages? Hell I'm pretty sure she dated one. EXCEPT SHE DIDN't BECAUSE DAWN OF THE SEEKER NEVER HAPPEND AFDSGHGFDHGFJH

She holds it in place with raw determination.

Eh, by all means watch and judge for yourself. I just think it's a horrible movie.

Her older brother was decapitated by a Blood Mage, scars like that don't fade over much.

Her view softening somewhat on random do right mages, that she may or may not have (given i don't view a chaste kiss on the cheek after a few suggestive bits of banter as indication of a long distance relationship) have romantic inklings for.

And as i said before i think she could easily be pushed in that direction, she is after all only one ideological spectrum away from it.

Anyone else here think that Cassandra is one of the, if not the first, first companions that will stand by the Inquisitor's side?

Yes it did happen. Time to accept it.

Oh definitely. I think she and Varric find the Inquisitor together.

Yes. In fact, I think she'll be a secondary protagonist, as mentioned prior.

I wonder, do they meet the Inquisitor before or after the veil tear? I can't help but think that they're the ones to drag him/her to the infamous peace conference.

Okay, now I'm sure she won't die in the first chapter.

Yes. As of now I view her as one the most important companions to the Inquisitor, story-wise. It makes the most sense to me.

I at least think she'll be present at the peace conference.

That's not possible. Everyone dies except the PC.

EDIT: Unless she leaves before it is over.

Oh yeah, forgot about that

Well, maybe that or she arrives just after. I at least have a feeling she'll be present within the first half hour of the game.

I think a few people who attend it will leave early, supposedly a lot of important groups are going to be there after all.

More likely she is seeking  the sole survivor of the conference.

Edit: If only to angrily interrogate them while she stabs things.

I think she and Varric stumble on the Inquisitor once the Veil splits, and the conference is destroyed, if the Peace Conference is still a thing.

I suspect she and Verric investigate the area after the conference becomes ground zero, and that's when you meet them.

You know i have been curious about that.

If hasn't been changed overly its going to be a meeting of some of the most martially capable people in the entire continent.

Knight Commanders, Senior Mages, Chantry Seekers.

I have been wondering, what COULD overwhelm such people?

Demons thus far haven't been over much threat to senior level warriors unless if the plot has demanded it, gameplay or lore wise.

One thing I'm curious about.

World of Thedas specifically mentions that the King of Nevarra is on his deathbed and without any direct heirs, the country is on the verge of a major succession crisis. Given that we have a member of the Nevarran royal family in our party, this seems like too obvious a plot hook not to come up.

Now, I'm not saying we're going to have an Alistair situation, but I'd bet cash money that this will be a part of Cassandra's personal quest.

I'm thinking that when the Veil actually splits like that, there might be some kind of energy release that has the potential to level the place, and kill everyone. Or it could be that some extremely high level demons come through the split first.
