Dudebros aka those straight white men who represent the major demographic. Unfortunatelly also folk who shows the most common of sexist, racist, homophobic tendencies in the video game fandoms. They're like Social Justice Sallies among Social Justice Warriors or "1firstcomment!111" among youtubers etc. Not always but quite often

And the meaning isn't going anywhere. It's a pretty convinient term to use to specify which group of people one's talking about 

 

Cassandra's concept art and commentary to it. It was a pretty nice read and it's sad to see that it has lost a bit of meaning

 

It happened with Ashley so I'm pretty sure it happen again. I have hard time imaging why in the world they would get rid of the scar if in her concept art if was definied as important. It's not even such a difficult detail. Just look at Iron Bull's face

 

Anyway, I'm pretty sick of people saying that prettifying tough female characters is okay and not a common problem in the media at all. Didn't really expect such talks to appear here, on BSN out of all places... maybe Bioware Russian Community where an appearance of a female dwarf caused some people to go hysterical but here...

My folk also keep mentioning that making Cassandra wield a 2d weapon is too much for her "fragile" arms and a small part of the forum like me keeps giggling at them for calling Cassandra fragile

That's why I use the term "dudebros" and not "white male straight gamers". The second one is too broad. The two gets mixed a lot though, like almost every concept

 

The one which has diffirent views of her heads with green/red/etc coloured arrows and stuff to demonstrate how sharp her angels are. I don't have a link, currently, but I'm pretty sure it can be found

Yep, that's Cassandra from the livestream today. Given the ever-approaching release date, that might be our canon Cassandra appearance, unless they are doing more iterations prior to going gold.

Ah, that one. Yeah, they look the same to me. Guess I need a reason to actually look for the differences instead caring about that personality that keeps being brought up and then ignored to talk about her face.

It's not shortened, it's very thin at the end and the compression blend it with the skin tone.
