True, these ladies are awesome, it is just I generally prefer to have a first playthrough as my own gender. It was a VERY long time since my first hero was a male (in games where you can choose, of course). But now I am definitely tempted...

The Herald is the one whose eyes are all focused on now so, it makes sense to have him or her on the spotlight but she isn't willing to allow everything to be reliant upon his or her work.

They did say things would be harder for non-humans, especially Qunari. So I'm thinking that whole plotline probably plays differently if you're human. Particularly one of a Chantry family.

Probably, since it is basically saying you are like Andraste.
