Being "big and grey" doesn't add any extra to being badass.

 

This is why I'm going to make a Dalish Elf Human Necromancer (or Knight Enchanter because re-materializing into enemies to deal them lots of damage is extra badass). I still need to decide on the race, sigh.

I have to say, I think it adds at least a little.

 

But I'm probably going to be a mage and I think the male qunari are too bulky to suit magery, so I guess it's a male human for me. With a badass scar or two, and maybe some kind of beard.

What did people think of Cassandra saying she wouldn't leave everything to the Herald in the twitch demo? I know that technically it was to introduce the war table, but at the same time she pretty much ordered Cullen, Leliana and Josie to do stuff and none of them complained...

Well, I think she's higher ranked then them. She seems to be the second in command, and I hope she'll be always present in those meetings.
I do think she might've been the leader of the inquisition. Or maybe the four of them Were leading it together.

No, the DotS book is confirmed to be different.
Though We don't know for how long she and Justinia planned the inquisition. During Varric's interrogation the Inquisition already existed in some form. She probably recruited Cullen and Josie arount that time.

Cassandra recruited Culle, Leliana was the one who made Josephine join, because they knew each and Josephine is, according to the info we have, a damn good diplomat.

Josephine. Well, Josie is the diplomat, the voice of reason, I'd say, but otherwise she's basically a civilian recruit, right? Her job is literally to be told to do things; her value is that no one else can do those things. I'm sure her perspective is valued, but making decisions probably isn't in her job description.

Leliana. Traditionally speaking, right > left, and Leliana is the Left Hand of the Divine, on top of that Cassandra is "The Hero of Orlais", that allots her quite a few I can boss you up points on its own. That said, I sensed a bit of friction in that scene, I imagine it won't always be smooth sailing.

Cullen. Seeker > Templar. Even if Cullen isn't a Templar anymore, there's still gonna be that residual habit there, reducing friction when Cassandra tells him to do stuff. But she recruited him too, no? She brought him on board to serve in a leadership capacity, but still under her direction. I think she values and respects his advice, but trusts her own sense of direction more.

Besides, an argument with Cassandra will probably only end one of two ways:
1) You are bullsh*t.
2) You get stabbed.
