What is it about human that makes them ALL embrace it? Just curious.
Its not really special, just that I will most likely only play human anyway. Not a big fan of the other classes.
And why not embrace it? Think of the perks it will bring.

Will any of you guys have trouble with Cassandra if she refuses to accept you not being the Herald of Andraste?
I fully expect to butt heads with her over a myriad of issues. She's not the "Yes, inquisitor" type. Cookie for anyone who gets the reference
....Just hope she's not going be annyoing and/or creepy about it. There are...other characters for that role <.<

Ah fair enough.

Depends on the character. My human mage lived an bitter life thanks to Andraste influence. The last thing he would want is to be called her Herald.
I just really hope Cass isn't a zealot, because I really want to like her. I already feel like I'm going to have a problem with Cullen, I don't want to have any problems with her also.

I don't think her character development swings that way. Gaider's interview said she's sort of reassessing old beliefs.
She's also different than how she started in Dawn of the Seeker. Already towards the end, she embraced Byron's last words. "Hate breeds hate."

Pretty much what I think as well. She doesn't seem to hate mages anymore and learned that from Byron in DotS. Cassandra strikes me more as a middle of the road type on the mage/templar war and thinks both sides have good points.

She disagrees with Cullen in the twitch demo (which made me laugh because many people seem to think that they were going to agree on everything).

Interesting idea. I don't know how strongly she would feel about that. On the one hand, if she truly believes that she won't do anything to harm us. On the other hand, she might pester us constantly to accept this or just refuse to talk to us about it anymore.
That reinforces the idea that she'S the one companion you can't drive away. Even if the Herald of Andraste is an utter prat, she'll be there to help.
People might be reading too much into one disapproval. Anders gained disapproval if you rejected his flirting but that doesn't mean he brought it up latter or held a grudge about it. Cassandra could very well dislike the Inquisitor rejecting the Herald of Andraste tittle but quickly get over it and not mention it again.
I don't think Bioware wants players with non-human players to feel like certain characters are trying to force the Herald of Andraste title on them. That said, Cassandra seems like a devout woman so a part of her most likely wants to believe that the maker is helping the inquisition in the some way.

Thats one of the better fanarts I've seen of her face. It keeps the tough look of Cassandra while still showing her beauty.

No.
Hatred breeds resolution, conviction and action.
Byron was a fool and a traitor.
Honestly i personally hope we can push Cass head long back into the person she used to be.
She needs not no "coming of age journey of resolution and resolve"

How was he a traitor? ![]()
How was he a traitor?
He was comrades in arms with a Mage?
Think on that for a moment; he placed trust within the very institution he is supposed to watch over for corruption.
Its complacency, laziness and treachery.
no if we go by that logic. We have prisons and other negatives. He was comrades in arms with a Mage?

Or you're letting blind paranoia and fanatism cloud your judgment.

No if he had either of those he wouldn't have made such mistakes.
He would have been too paranoid.
I do hope Cassandra will still believe in the maker, didn't the devs say that she questioned her faith and such?
Well that isn't good.....

Elaborate please....

That picture is lovely. Has a really homey, retro vibe to it.
