I wonder if Cass will go into why she didn't join her fellows in their rebellion.
She briefly tells Varric that not all of them wants to go to war, and she probably agrees with the Divine's plan

She was already different than the Templars, regardless of her hand of the divine status. The Dawn of the Seeker story begins and ends with Byron's last words to her: "Hate breeds hate."
She got over that sense of one sidedness and hate long ago. That's why she didn't rebel. She's trying to find balance. It just so happens to coincide with Justinia later.
im guessing cause shes a hand of the divine first seeker second.
But if not i hope its not copy of eva's reason...gaider has more talent than that
Well, in Dawn of the Seeker, she gains plenty of reason to distrust Templars. Also, being the right hand of the Divine likely made her more loyal to the Divine than to the Seeker/Templar rebels. She probably sees the renegades as traitors that have forsaken their duty.

Right hand of the Divine. And it's probable she disagrees with Lambert.

It goes back to me wondering if she had a relationship with Lambert.
I truly do now wonder if they crossed swords before due to difference of belief and policy.
She doesn't seem the type to follow an Organization the way Lambert ran the Seekers of Truth.
He could be the reason she has all those new scars come DAI that she didn't have in DA 2.
Going from the Mifune and Hanzo reference from before...
Seems appropriate.
great video and the cool thing i had no idea about was that Seekers use different ablities than TemplarsI'm surprised nobody in this thread even acknowledged the video I made.
Not that I made it for acknowledgement, but still surprised.

I'm hoping she has grown up a little bit more then that since then.
I mean i might adore Cass to bits but...her naivety if she actually buys into that tripe would be annoying.

epic fight imo. And id believe that cass had minor duel with lambert. Both are proficient swordsmenIt goes back to me wondering if she had a relationship with Lambert.

I don't think it's tripe. It sounds slogan-ish, but I think it holds up. Both in my own life with just individuals and in wider struggles I've seen through history. One of my favorite dudes ever used that line.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. - MLK Jr.

I don't think Cassandra's going to have any trouble finding love to drive out hate. Hell, this thread is loaded with people ready to throw their love at her.
true if we give in to negativie emotions that just leaves alot of dead people... and im not cleaning that upI don't think it's tripe. It sounds slogan-ish, but I think it holds up. His name is based off a character from the anime Code Geass which is a girl who uses Stadtfeild as a last name. So...........
I haven't seen Code Geass in over a decade. And considering that's about half my life, I hardly remember it. IDK where it came from or who that was in his avatar, honestly.

It's a fact that hatred creates more hatred. It's a vicious cycle that can be seen literally everywhere.

Truly? I suppose we have lived exceedingly different lives, hatred to me is no different from any other emotion.
It's a reaction to events, to actions. perceived or actual.
Hatred does not exist in a vacuum; true hatred, absolute hatred can only be created. And through it's creation does it find purpose and meaning, for without purpose it is just a word. Hatred is often marked in a negative spectrum; But does it not require will to create? Does it not require focus to maintain? Does it not to require ambition to serve? - Me
Hatred is useful. It will keep you alive when nothing else will.

It's a fact that literally anything can in fact create hatred. Just like anything can cause any other emotion.
bad joke on the extremes of hatred(people die and somebody has to clean up the mess.Huh?

Good thing about deserts; Give it a few minutes and a shifting wind will bury them for you.

I think there's a time to draw the line. I just don't think it should be the first course. It's more of a warning to not rest on it as your psychological disposition.
I just think that you should appeal to one's enemy. Lincoln used similar statements to the Confederacy, trying to appeal to their better side.. "The better angels of our nature". But they ultimately didn't want to listen, and a lot of people died.
thats why i like the desert. Warm, sunny, all i can eat cacti, and its always clean XDGood thing about deserts; Give it a few minutes and a shifting wind will bury them for you.

True. But that doesn't make hate any more or less toxic. When's the last time you've seen hatred be used beneficially?
Speaking of the Confederacy, this is the kind of thinking I'm warning against. This is after they already lost. A confederate officer said:
"You may forgive us but we won’t be forgiven. There is rancor in our hearts…which you little dream of. We hate you, sir.”
I almost feel sorry for the stupid bastard, for being so lost in that hatred.
Can't feel sorry for a person who wanted to support a system that kept slavery alive and popping like it wasn't ****. I'd happily genocide every true confederate that there has ever been.
