The difference being what exactly?

Because the intent of the attack is what makes something terrorism or not. You arguing that the Galactic Civil War needs a third party doesn't change that really.

I had to refresh my memory. It seems that the destruction of Byss was accidental and caused by R2-D2 (during the New Republic years, no less).

Accidental? Pfft.

Hijacking a Dooms Day weapon is accidental?

What were the rebels going to do with the Galactic Gun?

Seriously, just what peaceful non wartime application can you do with that weapon system?

Explode Suns for kicks?

That my friend is merely the horrible logic the rebels apply to their situation, they hijack a WMD and then can't fire the thing appropriately and then it impacts a planet, therefore it isn't their fault millions die.

So...yeah.

I'd label it insurrection not terrorism personally, although some of the rebels were terrorists who committed terrorism.

And the attack in question was to spread fear through violence, hence the target and all.

What better way to make Imperial citizens afraid then to strike at a shipyard deep within the core, which is under the watchful eye of the Imperial Fleets and not only that but do one better and drop a few incomplete ships on the planet.

Point being though; i was going off the logic applied to the American Civil War, with the party in question engaging in rebellion having to be recognized to be legitimate.

You surely have ran into that logic before?

If everyone in the galaxy would stop building doomsday machines, than maybe the galaxy could be at peace for a change.

That's what Cassandra's mission would be, pursuing and stopping chaotic megalomaniacs (like the Elder One).

Well, the super weapons actually weren't designed to be weapons by the scientists who created them. The Death Star for example was designed to actually be used for mining purposes to access resources trapped deep in asteroids or dead planets by removing the asteroid or dead planet.

Since the regular posters in here are fascinated with Cassandra's breasts and the size of them, perhaps they're the galactic superweapons?

No, just that with a game, you can't expect everything to reflect who you are in the real world. He never implies that he himself was totally happy. I'm certain DarkKnight would love to be able to play as Batman. But he can't. Because he's Batman.

Elder One: How can you possibly expect to defeat me, your new god?!

BatQusitor: Because. I'm. BatQuisitor! With my BatSword/BatStaff. And BatArmor. And BatHalla. And I live in the Bathold.

That wouldn't work, according to Allan, Cassandra is Batman.

Quoting Cassandra lines as Bale's Batman may be the best thing ever #TaintMadness
