Games are meant as a source of entertainment and enjoyment for the player. Those things are not entertaining or enjoyable to me. 

 

But the world does not cater to just you.

I find it's perfectly reasonable if one would want the option to roleplay an Inquisitor that absolutely does not swear, especially since a lot of people see their characters as reflections of themselves at least at some level. As for everybody outside the PC, you're just going to have to accept that as in real life, some people swear and others don't. Then you can make the decision on whether or not you surround yourself with those people. Personally, I feel that somebody's use of language is a very small thing to exclude somebody from your party for, but you should obviously have the freedom to do so.

It may be a religious or simply personal life choice for Kallen, or just simply a strong preference. I'm not judging. I'm not that up to date on all the new media, but have we seen Blackwall, Solas, Dorian, or Vivienne swearing? I'm trying to think. Pretty sure Iron Bull & Sera would be out. The advisors haven't been heard swearing much, to my knowledge. We're still off-topic, right now… I suppose to bring it back to Cassandra, I would expect only moderate swearing; mostly respectful language, but during stressful situations perhaps she'll let slip a few words like "d***" or "s***". Personally, I would be fairly surprised if she was the source of any of the F-bombs… more likely Iron Bull, Sera, or some other NPCs.

Oh, I didn't realize that about Blackwall. I'm not all that worried, I'm just a little sad for those like Kallen who seem very off-put by offensive language. Imo, Cass's use of BS wasn't gratuitous in DA2… but well I just hope there's something for everyone in DA; I'm a sucker for compromise, I guess.

Ooh, can't recall it being a major issue. It is definitely mentioned. We opted not to lock or unlock romance by class.

True, but then again Patrick never said how the Inquisitor being a mage would come up. It could be backstory-specific.
