Human Warrior Romance for me. Hopefully there'll be some scenes tailored for each class.
I wouldn't mind a sparring session.

'Sparring session'. I see what you did there. ![]()

That would be great to see
I too would like a nice, friendly sparring match with Cass. ![]()

God, is there anyone who grew up watching Conan? And wanted to kick Thulsa Doom's ass? Who the hell wanted to be like him?

Mages are just a staple of fantasy for me. I could never be that hyped about them though. I tried to explain earlier that I'm a "tool" person. I like working with my hands. I like musical instruments more than singing. Things like that. And if I go back to my earliest fantasies, it's always about breaking things and stage fights with mock weapons. I never once said, "Oh, I want to be the guy who controls people with his mind."
I hear you but... Mentally I'd be classified as a rogue (as far as I'm concerned that's what matters). Physically I'd be a two handed warrior. Neither of those stop mages from being my all time favorite fantasy trope.

I just hope the Reaver specialization won't scare her (blood magic?), thats definitely my favorite class.

Seriously.. who would want to get down with someone like this? Seems.. unhealthy.

I wonder now just how Cass could die in game.
I can picture many scenarios.
I'm pretty sure Cass is the one companion who stays the whole game

If she ever gets eaten by a dragon, I'm not sure how I'll react. ![]()
I imagine it being on a rainy battlefield. While the Inquisitor seals the Breach, she can do naught but look up to the desolate sky. And as she bleeds out from her wound, she watches the green tear through the sky begin to close. And as it does, she smiles, knowing that she helped save the world. Her eyes close, and she is at peace.

I wonder why she would stay permanently.
Not that I'm complaining. Just wonder what the larger principle is there.

Talk about irony!

Isn't that picture from the witcher tv show?

Of all the companions she seems like the type who would take a metaphorical bullet for the inquisitor.

No, the DA web series with Felicia Day. That's a reaver character.

Well she is the one who technically recreated the Inquisition under the Divine's plan, so it would make sense if she would see it through

I just wonder if there's even a worst case scenario, where you hijack and can ruin the original cause (I don't plan to, but I think some players will play Douche-quisitors).

"Don't make me tear up, you jackass."

Really?
I wasn't picturing something so...melodramatic.
Just something swift, brutal and unexpected.
Like Aeris in the Cetra Temple.
Sephiroth just descends using the sun as cover and plants his katana through her back.
If she ever gets eaten by a dragon, I'm not sure how I'll react.
I imagine it will be like in Hercules where you worry for a moment but then you see her sword swing in a circle, letting her out while the dragon's head is separated from its body.

That's the kind of thing you can do when the characters don't speak. Aerith was a good way to surprise players, it wasn't a good death scene.
