There are no other games on the PS4 man, i thought there were like 200+ choices in the keep?

I've read the novels even though their highly meh-ish.

Ah.. still don't have a PS4.. not sure what's on there. Got an Xbone though. Might get Sunset Overdrive.

I can't break NDA, but I'll just say the Keep isn't a game. That should be safe to say.

There are plenty of games on the PS4.

Might I suggest NBA2K15 - A modern take of the classic RPG with a Sports Theme and Story**:

-Create your own player and choose 1 of 5 different positions

-You can even import your own face so YOU can be The Inquisitor player.

-As you play, and learn your moves, earn coins that you can use to upgrade your skills and tendacies

-As you upgrade, choose between 5 different classes of player-types (defender, shooter, etc.)

-Make conversational choices that can affect how you are perceived by your teammates and outside forces.

-Enjoy multiplayer as you take your player to the court and face against other great players

**story does not contain Cassandra Pentaghast, therefore you might be disappointed.

I really like the second one. Simple, but great expressions and style.

Without also breaking my own NDA, I second StreetMagic on this. I love the Keep, but you shouldn't think of it as a game.

As for PS4 stuff, I'd say if you haven't played it on the PS3 yet, The Last of Us: Remastered is very good. Even if you're not normally into survival horror games, I highly recommend it. One of the best story-based games I've played outside an RPG, ever.

Loving the Cass sketches. I tried to do one of her from Dawn of the Seeker era a while back, but closer to her concept art style. Didn't care for the results, personally. Sketching's been hard on my lately thanks to tendonitis in both the elbow and wrist. Still, might make a re-attempt in the coming weeks when I'm in full DA:I hype mode (scarily, no, I'm not at full yet. Somewhere around 95-98% :P)

Yeah, I have a beta key for the Keep as well and can confirm that it is definitely not a game.  It's more for setting up histories for your various playthroughs in DA:I.  Of course if you take a lot of time on the character creator and enjoy that then you may enjoy the Keep as well.

3 questions:

1. Is there going to be a Female-PC trailer?

2. Will we have a variety of races available at character creation?

3. How many romances are available, and will they be with both teammates and cheerleaders?

There is no WNBA game. In fact, 2K has thrown around the idea of adding other male leagues - the NBA D-League, the Euroleagues, the Chinese leagues - into the series, but has never seriously suggested putting in female leagues.

So no, to my great regret, I still can't self-insert into an NBA 2K game.

I never said the keep was a game I just meant its the closest possible viable time-sink like thing I can get into before Nov18.

Like how some play another game to kill the time I'm hoping the keep will keep me atleast alittle occupied tweaking the various decisions coming up with an ideal worldstate.

I sank hours into skyrim on 360.

Right now I have a ps4 with madden and destiny...

So as you might be able to see more clearly I'm desperate for DA:I to come out

the lack of games on the next gen system is kinda lame right now but so early on, it is what it is.

I wonder which of the companions is the light weight drinker of the group?

I kinda get the feeling Cass can hold her liquor, don't ask me why just do.

I bet sera can't hold up very well to seriously drinking.

Elves are too thin and lithe.

They are the Native Americans of drinking in Thedas. (No offense meant)

I bet Blackwall can drink.

Legolas did quite well against Gimli in LoTR.

I have been wondering, how would Cassandra go with a male mage Lavellan ?

Like some of you here, I find the notion of Cassandra romancing anyone but the mage Trevelyan or other male Trevelyans to be odd.

Odd? More like stupendously impractical fiction.

That's going to be my first/main DAI playthrough, a male elf mage romancing Cassandra.

I think it (or a qunari mage) works perfectly (and perhaps better than a human mage), considering Cassandra's personal character arc.

I'm actually planning "nomances" for all my human Inquisitors, whenever I get around to playing one.

I'm just engaging in hyperbole due to my inherent bias as a Mage who's invested in Magequistor>Cass being le Cannon.

Edit: Also Elf Mage with Cass is like *eyebrow raise*

Yes, but just imagine it for a moment.

Here is Lavellan: An elf, a Dalish, a mage, probably believes in the Creators or doesn't give a damn about believing, sarcastic & trolling expert (requirement of being a Dalish) and wary of humans.

Here is Cassandra: A human, descended from nobility, a mage-hunter (Templar is her specialization), an Andrastian, was formerly part of an organization that messed up the Dales, forward & brash.

See the problem ? As apostate puts it nicely, this is stupendously impractical.
