According to the wiki, that books takes place in 9:41, and the 'present day' parts of it only happen over the course of a few weeks or months. From this, we can assume that by the time the Breach occurs, it's far enough in 9:41 that messengers would be unable to bring news of such a cataclysmic event in the Anderfels by the time the book ends.
So the beginning of Dragon Age: Inquisition takes place ~1 month before or after Last Flight, and up to half a year or so after the end cutscene of Dragon Age II.
I'm not getting a 9:42 Dragon date anywhere from this. Just curious where people are pulling it from. Probably from the "It's been ~20 years since DotS, which took place in 9:22 Dragon" thing we have when we have out bi-monthly 'Cassandra's age' debate.
Speaking of regular events, when's the last time we talked about Cassandra's build while posting MMA fighters we think she should look like? I haven't seen a Gina Carano pics/gif for at least a hundred pages!
Still one of the best Cass topics ![]()
To the void with that!
Dragon Messengers.......
Cassandra: The dragon is dead...
Inquisitor: Dammit Cassandra! It was delivering some armour I bought on Amazon! And it's the wrong size! Great, how do I send it back now?!

Inquisitor: Great, now we HAVE to side with the city elves. I need them to use those Eluvians get me a PROPERLY SIZED armed suit. Tell Briala we'll agree to any demands they set as long as they'll take care of that.
Cassandra: Inquisitor....
Inquisitor: DECISION'S BEEN MADE, CASSIE!
Cassandra: *evil glare, raises sword* I told you never to call me that.....

I'm guessing that Cass isn't going to be too pleased if the Inquisitor called her "love, dear, sweetheart, Cass, Cassie, etc." in front of the party or in public. This is of course based upon David Gaider's statement that she finds discussing the things that she's passionate about "unseemly".
Either that or she just smiles on the inside.
That just makes me want to do it more, simply to get her annoyed and/or flustered. Something along the lines of the romance with Bastila in Knights of the Old Republic, which was awesome in part because of the sheer amount of times Revan was able to successfully troll her, about how much she was obviously into him.

Oh gosh yes, I loved trolling Bastila. First time around I didn't do it because I thought it would screw up the romance... then when I discovered on my second run that no... you could legit romance her while being a smartass, it became my canon approach.
Here's hoping we can troll Cass at least a bit, too.
Yeah, I looked at those hoodies online. Cassandra's hoodie looked the coolest and was only in women's sizes. Oh well, I probably wouldn't have ordered a Bioware hoodie, anyways, but still kind of disappointing to think of, if I was to feel like ordering one.

Did the same thing back in the day with Bastila. But i think trying it with cass would be unhealthy.

Revan having a legendary staus as a smartass apparently is canon and was one of the things the mindwipe failed to remove. It's mentioned that after Malak was referred to as a "meatbag" by HK-47, Revan reprogammed him to use that phrase to refer to all organics, simply because it annoyed Malak and because he found it funny! ![]()
Yeah, here's to hoping we can play as equally as much of a troll and have sarcastic dialogue, to make up for the loss of DA2's sarcastic personality option?

Cole referring to all people as 'meatbag' semi-confirmed rumor?

That really doesn't like Cole.
Cole and Cassandra interaction is what I'm waiting the most for. Maybe even more than becoming BFF with Cass (if such a thing is possible).

I agree, but he was the only companion I could think of who might buy into doing it if the Inquisitor asked him to.
My guess is that Cassandra thinks of Cole as something dangerous and lethal that she, and the rest of Thedas, has never encountered before. And in peacetime, she might be obligated to lock him up. But as long as he remains an enemy of the Elder One and the demons coming out of the Breach, she'll work alongside him.
Friends, though? I'm not sure Cassandra is very experienced at 'friends' in the traditional sense of the term. She has comrades-in-arms, mentors, commanding officers. And since she's a romance, she at least is not opposed to the idea of friends or lovers. Galyan was a possible mix of both, but we don't really know what happened to him, or how far even their friendship went. I'm not sure that such deep connections to other people are things she has very often, if at all, due to her personality.
Not saying I want her to die but what wouldbe an appropriate death for Cass? Or how do you think Bioware will off her? This is Bioware afterall.
It would need to be very, very epic.

Iron Bull and Sera would do it...
Going by some tweets by Patrick (Cole's writer), I didn't get the impression that Cassandra had issues with Cole. Also the BFF part was about my PC becoming BFF with Cassandra, not Cole.

I think that Cole's fate will be one major point of contention between Cassandra and Vivienne (who otherwise get along apparently).
Cassandra actually has some degree of respect for Cole while Vivienne wants to banish him.
Cassandra is also Nevarran. They aren't nearly as against spirits like the rest of Thedas is.

They just aren't morons about it like Rivain.
yeah rivain is a bit extreme with their powerThey just aren't morons about it like Rivain.
What do you all think the relationship between Cassandra and Blackwall will be like?

She will "grey his warden" if the Inquisitor does not "storm her casstle".

Bioware said that all the Warrior companions have a positive relationship with each other, and Blackwall and Cassandra have similar ideals, so I can easily see them becoming friends.
