I was in dire need of something to cheer me up, and then I found Aimo had posted some Cadash X Cass art. Blessed be she.

Not as active as it used to be. Everyone must be off crashing the Keep.

Cassandra is also Nevarran. They aren't nearly as against spirits like the rest of Thedas is.
She isn't just a Nevarran either. She's already left privileges and ties to her family and is defined more by her own duties.
"People are not simple. They cannot be summarized in the manner of.. 'The elves are a lithe, pointy eared people who excel at poverty.'" ![]()
That said, I don't know why she'd necessarily be against spirits either. Just not for that reason.

Oh, I know. But her childhood was spent in a culture that wasn't as wary of spirits and more accepting of them compared to most of Thedas. That will rub off on people and can affect their views on things. In this case, her not minding what Cole is.

True enough. I'm really curious about everything she has to say. As popular as she is, she still kind of remains a mystery to me.

She was born in Nevarra, which makes her Nevarran.
Her renouncing her claim doesn't make that go away.

I didn't say she wasn't Nevarran. I carefully chose my words above. "isn't just Nevarran"
Oh I see it now. My mistake.

Np. Sorry for the confusion. Mostly I'm just expecting to be a thrown for a loop from time to time with some of these characters.

Her movie did a bad job at exploring what she thinks beside a few things about managing circles and why she was so pissed at mages.
What do you all think the relationship between Cassandra and Blackwall will be like?
I'm unsure.
Cassandra seems to have a distrust of Wardens (Mike's comment in a stream about her being disgruntled if she knew she was wearing Warden armor, her x2 pissed dialog in DA2 Legacy), but Blackwall with is unbound optimism and "the ideal Warden/Hero" thing should appeal to Cassandra's romantic side...

True, Cassandra being Nevarran doesn't necessarily mean that she's more accepting of spirits because of some of their traditions. After all, Anders was born in the Anderfels, who are supposedly a rather grim and dour lot, yet in Awakening he was the life of the party?
Although I suppose merging with Justice may have reawakened that part of his cultural heritage, given how gloomy he got in DA2! ![]()
I still think allowing dwarves to romance cass is a mistake.
I still think allowing dwarves to romance cass is a mistake.
Uh, why Dwarves specifically?
Because they look like mutant children with beards. I don't care really. Whatever you're into.
Why is it a mistake ? I thought it is common knowledge here that Cass judges people by merit and actions, not race or class, even mages ?

Oh come on guys. ![]()
Dwarves look weird. There's really no getting around that.

Why should that exclude them from romancing Cassandra?
I'm really confused here....
next to elves, qunari, mages dwarves are one of the least liked things in da. Personally i like dwarves cause it gives me a reason to play hardliner wardensWhy is it a mistake ? I thought it is common knowledge here that Cass judges people by merit and actions, not race or class, even mages ?
Apparently. It makes my little heart bleed. ![]()

Did I say it should? Warder did.
Anyway, most people don't want to bang things they don't think are attractive, Warder thinks they aren't so he doesn't think Cassandra should. Seems pretty straight forward to me.

Good for him. Too bad it doesn't contribute anything to the thread.
