Why would Cassandra single out dwarves as being visually unappealing, though?

 

Of the non-human races, they are the most similar to humans.

 

On the other hand, elves and qunari are far more....exotic than them. They both have pointed ears. Elves are skinny and lack facial hair. Qunari have horns and metal-hued skins.

 

If Cassandra were hypothetically shallow about her significant other's physical appearance, why would she romance an elf or a qunari?

Elves are said to be aesthetically pleasing to humans in Dragon Age, actually.

Things may change once I'll be playing, but so far I've been planning to pair Cass with Dorian and Varric. Poor Cass, stuck between an insufferable genius and an insufferable liar. 

 

Same here. A team with 3 women is just totally boring. Cass & Varric is guaranteed to be electric, add in some glamorous and cheerful Dorian flavour and the table is set for some great 3-way conversations.

Maybe her guilty pleasure is the electricity thing Isabela and Anders talked about. Or perhaps she liked playing "the naughty mage and the helpless recruit?" Maybe the "secret desire demon and the upstanding knight?" that Aveline and Anders talked about. I mean, she is a Seeker and specializes as a Templar. 

 

I mean, Cassandra is, for all intents and purposes, a virgin. A devoutly religious virgin woman who is in her late-30s with a sucker for romance ? I bet she is a real tigress in bed.
