I also had that idea and it made me *sniffle* a bit. He was like the only sane mage in Thedas beside Wynne but funny at the same time, everyone should feel the lost, not just Cassandra.

Yeah, remember those times before Kirkwall when mages were more or less sane? Good times. Still, it would be a good way to mention him for those who haven't seen or don't know about Dawn of the Seeker (the vast majority of the future buyers, I think).

So.....Cassandra is a Tsundere?(did i spell that right?) the Tough Outside, Soft and Squishy inside?....OMG SHE'S A CHOCOLATE COVERED RAISIN!

Yep, tsundere, you spelled it right. Now it's canon that she begins her relationships by pulling a blade at whoever she's talking to.

Cassandra seems more like the slam-against-a-wall-and-ravage-them type than the hesitant, awkward, and/or shy type.

A thousand times yes.

She's an extremely crusty baguette: hard on the outside, but soft and fluffy in the inside (that's from Mary Kirkby).

Also, a Tsundere isn't tough outside and soft in squishy inside. The dere part means lovestruck, not soft.

Enticing as that sounds I'd kinda like her romance and approach to a physical relationship to be different than her general disposition.

Y'know, I've always hated playing the male PC's in games, but honestly, if Cassandra is straight I'll force myself to play one. Luckily Qunari are inhuman enough that it won't bother me as much. There's just no one else that I can see myself liking enough to romance if they were bi, especially not the brat elf girl, lol.

Still hoping she's bi though.

Oh, and I felt like sharing my favorite fan art of Cassandra with everyone, it's the one in my avatar.

here is article about romance and sexual orientation http://www.ausgamers...ntation-bioware if she ends up being straight that fine its just showing how bioware is taking the romance system more serious now and improving on it.

I think it's the most improved in DA2 in my opinion. Sure it may not be as realistic, but at least it's fair to everyone.

Cassandra is better suited to keep playing the "Right Hand" role. She's a member of a clan of dragon hunters, Hero of Orlais, and has one hell of a temper. No one is going to mess with the boss if she's second in command.

The Inquisitor, even if he/she isn't exactly qualified to run the Inquisition being the lone survivor of the explosion and the one that can seal the breach makes him/her a good figurehead.

Romance-wise:

Varric: So you and the Seeker?

Inquisitor: Are we that obvious?

Varric: She's humming to herself and you're walking with a bit of a limp so I'd say yes.

cassandera kinda reminds me of miranda in me2 because she likes the second in command of shepard. you can tell cassandera is just like that by watching the trailer at the end and she exactly right hand of the inquisitor. the table reminds me a combination of the last supper mixed with the rounded table of knights.

That's what I said about Morrigan in Dragon Age and Miranda in Mass Effect 2, but after my first playthrough as a woman, I never manage to do so. Youtube videos are my friend though.

I do wonder if she'll 'betray' you if she feels you're misusing your power. I can imagine she's like the DA:O companions who'll turn against you or fight you if you do something they strongly dislike.

That said, I find myself wondering why she isn't the one in charge. She has experience. She had determination. I'm going to guess she has a vision for what she wants out of the Inquisition. 'This lady has glowy hand powers that closes breeches' doesn't seem to be sufficient to warrant a leadership role.

Whatever the case, I hope we get lots of scenes where she challenges the Inquisitor or demands an explanation for a course of action.

Just guessing here, but I would probably say there's an event (still part of prologue kinda) near the beginning of the game where after you're either taken in on suspicion of being the one behind the attack or simply related to the event, another veil opens nearby that shows how your character is capable of leadership and demonstrates the ability to close veils.

Cassandra was so epic in the latest trailer. I pretty much love everything about her. I can't wait to interact with her and see how she interacts with the other characters. :)

Yeah... am I the only one that scared out of my wit, yet madly attracted to her at the same time?

No. :)

She's probably my favourite character in terms of aesthetic design and the general overview I know of their character.

Someone asked yesterday if Leliana would sing again in DA: I - which made me think. How would Cass sound if she would sing?

I could see her sing her own version of the Rains of Castamere :P

"A hide of gold, a hide of red, a dragon still has claws."
