Any XBox One players here thinking of paying for EA Early Access to get the game(up to 2-6 hrs of it, anyway) on the 13th? I'm considering it just for the CC. And for the high amount of Cassandra early in the game. $6 lunch for one day. I can afford to skip that in exchange for four days of access to the character creator. I mean, I'm already getting the system for the game(though I'm committing to Xbox due to the Halo franchise). Mind as well splurge.
I'm thinking of starting my blackout that day anyway. Doubtless there will be spoiler threads for the early game. I'd just as soon experience that for myself.
Did they confirm that the limitation is time? I know the games on EA Access so far are but those are sports games so no real place to stop them otherwise. I think it would be better if DAi had a "Can play until this mission" limitation.
I'm gonna have to GTFO on the 13th. If there's a time limit on it, someone, somewhere, is probably gonna get pretty far in a speed run and have a lot of spoilers to share...
Make that the 11th, apparently some people got the right to start streaming the game from that date. Which I find strange, but whatever.
Not sure if its been discussed but how do you people find Cassandra's scar?
Because I absolutely love it
I love her scar too! I think it gives her character. ![]()
Like I said higher up on this page. It had absolutely nothing to do with Cassandra in the slightest.
I was relating your comment about the amount of development time affecting the amount of race-specific back to the topic of Cassandra because I think it is something interesting to bring up.
Both of Cassandra's writers were heavily involved in writing content for every race. If you think that had a negligible impact on Cassandra's writing, then you're probably mistaken. Cassandra probably won't give a damn about race itself anyway, insofar as physical characteristics are concerned. I think cultural differences will be the context of most race discussions.
I wonder if you can drink with Cassandra and the other companions at skyhold.
Trying to picture Cassandra's drunk talk.
Probs passive aggressive condemnation for my Mage-ness

Nope, no confirmation at all. I'm just going under the assumption that I'll have least 2hrs of playing time. I agree that playing up to a certain point in the storyline makes more sense for DA:I, but there's been no word of it operating differently than previous EA Access games, so I'm assuming it wil until informed otherwise.
But frankly, as long as I get access to the CC, I'm happy. I spend the first hour of every playthrough in that anyway. I'll need my first Inquisitor looking just the right level of manliness and ruggedly handsome. Cassandra deserves it, after all.

Lies. Lies! Lies, all!
Actually, two of my Cassandra-mancing playthroughs will be mages. My qunari and my elf. They will NOT, however, be my first playthrough. That is reserved for my human rogue. I played a human rogue(melee spec) first in the previous two games, and I'll do it for every game until Bioware takes away the option. My dwarf who romances Cassandra will also not be a mage(obviously). But every girl deserves to have a man at a very...convenient....height.
"I've traveled the surface since just after I started walking, boy. You know the most valuable thing I've learned? I'm at just the right height to show a human woman a good time."

*winces at mental image*
I'll see that in the Fade tonight, no doubt. I hope theres dialogue with Cass to the affect of ".....So did you ever have long hair?" ![]()

Truthfully, I'm surprised how many people find the dwarves and qunari unattractive. Guess I'm just weird for thinking the dwarf women are the most attractive of the bunch. Mmmmmm....perfect height.....
Hmm. I can see something rather spartan: a bed, a desk, a bookcase, maybe a sofa and a low table?
Also we need more of Cass side-lopped grin!
