Moving forward?
That's what you call it?
I'd call it forgetting history.

Thats a dude she's challenging.
That dude is probably chancellor Rodrick (I have no idea I spelled his name right.) that Cassandra mentioned in the meet the Advisers video.
What history are you referring to?
Inquisitor: "I say we charge."
(Cassandra Approves)
We fight or we die. That's the plan.

I'm disappointed there's no cricket noises after that line.
Or better yet,

Dueling foreplay, eh ![]()
Yup...
Personal, historical, cultural.
Take your pick.
What role did the Inquisitor (non-human, possibly mage) play in that history, which you claim Cassandra is forgetting?
Cassandra is starting to grow on me
. Time will tell if she'll end up being the love interest of the first playthrough after all ![]()
* comes out of bunk* dawn of the seeker showed her brother being killed by magi and she had a bias. 20 years later now that she's a moderate and open to interracial dating. Z possibly assumes she "regressing and betraying" her beliefs which is a valid assumption. Besides a little racism/classim is a good idea for her romance arcWhat role did the Inquisitor (non-human, possibly mage) play in that history, which you claim Cassandra is forgetting?
Every time i see this title i picture her in a white vest whit a 2 by 4 in her hand.

I know what Warder thinks and I disagree with him completely.
If you listen to how Gaider and Raison describe Cassandra, then it becomes clear that she has been re-evaluating her beliefs and has reached different (and perhaps more reasonable) conclusions. She truly seeks the truth at this point.
Her old beliefs were not consistent with her personal objective, which is to bring bad people to justice and preserve order. She was essentially experiencing cognitive dissonance. If she had continued down that path unhindered, she might have regressed further into petty and ignorant bigotry.
You can't bring bad people to justice when your personal bias leads you to pursue and capture the wrong people. When you pursue and capture the wrong people, you let the actual bad people get away and also create resentment/fear/hatred in the ones who were wrongfully accused and imprisoned. This only leads to more conflict and chaos, as illustrated by the breakdown of the Chantry.
The events of Dawn of the Seeker and DA2 rather explicitly illustrated to Cassandra that the seekers and the templars can be just as corrupt and chaotic as mages.
As far as elves, qunari, and dwarves are concerned, I don't think Cassandra has ever been explicitly racist. Even in her interactions with Varric (in which she referred to him as "dwarf"), it is clear that his sketchy personality angers her more than anything else. At that point, she was desperate for information about what caused (and could possibly end) the Mage-Templar War. She wanted the truth, not Varric's tales.

Yup. And I love how she got right into his face. Freaking hilarious and so badass.
Who cares?
a fair amount of people. This thread thrives of petty discussionWho cares?

are you saying she should hold a "grunge/preduice" im curious on the subjectWhat role did magic, what role did their races?
You seem to be working off some notion of personal responsibility.
I never claimed as much.
I did point out though she was abandoning history.
Which it is.
Mages,elves, Qunari, dwarves.
Foreign, alien, hostile.
History and it's lessons forgotten.

The complaints about Cassandra romancing dwarves and qunari just make me want to romance her with them even more
Almost makes me want to change my Lavellan for a Adaar or a Cadash.
