1) Nevarran monarchy is not in favor of electing queens who are in their 40s who have no offspring. It does not make for very good dynasty continuity. Most likely her age will be revealed by dialogue choices. 

 

2) The majority of straight men prefer young women to romance. There are countless studies showing this to be the case. This is just a biological reality since men in general tend to look for youth and fertility in women, it is neither sexist nor immature. If you are having an LI whose age is outside the range of the majority preference (I do not see many 38 to 40 year old women being successful in initiating a romantic relationship as opposed to 23 to 26 year old women), it would make sense to keep it under wraps.

Please show me where dev talk about Cassandra standing in the Pentaghast family, because the only thing I remember is that she's a distant cousin of the king, which could mean that she's as close as second cousin and that her great-grandparent were king and queen of Nevarra.

Truly the most controversial issue when pursuing a romance in a video game, 'Can I get her pregnant?'. True it's a big part of the Morrigan story, and Liara and my MShepard joked about 'little blue children' I don't think that pregnancy and fertility are fundamental aspects when pursuing a relationship in a video game.

I hope there's a good reason, story wise, not to reveal her age and it's not just pandering to #2 of lowest common denominator of (mostly) men who may freak out because ZOMG, Cass is 40.

I have no idea what that plot line could be, but speculating is half the fun, amirite?
