Is that the reason for her personality? I mean, she is aways very angry and aggressive. Is because of the rite of tranquility? They said in the novels that the side effect of the cure of tranquility are extremes displays of emotion. That... would explain a lot actually.

The Gamespot reviewer mentioned he felt like when Aliastair left the warden, and that he encouraged his lover to work for the greater good. So it's likely a path for that character you can choose.

She finds some old book that was supposed to be read by Lord Seekers only. Apparently they created Rite of Tranquility ages ago and knew how to cure it.

She then says that during her training they used it on her and later summoned a spirit of faith to cure her and that's how she got her abilities. And Cass had no idea about what happened to her!

Ok, so not as big a deal as I thought it would be, though I imagine it would be quite the revelation for Cass. It does bring up a few questions though. Is it because of this that Cass doesn't require Lyrium? Do all seekers go through the same process? And of course, how is this particular plotline going to proceed?

It does leave open the possibility that Cassandra will reform the seekers and spread the knowledge to the mages in order to help remake the circles/end the rebellion/make peace. Perhaps this new seeker order will replace the Templars in a reformed circle order.

Cass gets a large approval boost if you tell her to make the seekers better so its stands to reason that telling her to not reform the seeker order will give a large disapproval. Perhaps insisting on there being no seeker order is what gets Cassandra to leave the party.

 

Also, now that I think about it, perhaps this spirit of faith is still inside them and its what gives seekers access to Templar abilities without needing lyrium.

Or Iron Bull, and his allegiance to the Qun. Since the Gamespot reviewer played a male, the last romantic option is Josephine, and she doesn't strike me as someone to leave "for the greater good". So a toss-up between Cass, Dorian, Iron Bull, i suppose. Maybe even more than one of them.
