Did we ever get confirmation that the Cassandra romance

was basically a no win situation in which she either broke off the romance to improve the seeker order or she got miffed and left the party? Really hoping that's not the case or I think my rage will cause me to play as Assquisitor.

I really doubt this is going to happen. People had different intepretations of the gamespot review. some believe she leaves the party if you disband the order, others that she breaks the relationship if you encourage her for some greater good path. There's no way both are inside the game.

If you say you don't want to be called the Herald of Andraste, Cassandra will remember that and mention it in another conversation where she asks if you don't believe in the Maker as well. One person played a dwarf and essentially said "I don't believe in the Maker cuz I'm a dwarf" and Cass essentially says "Yeah but you could be a surface dwarf like Varric and...nvm"

Game Informer has a romances and how to please them write up. Cassandra is the first one in the list. I'm going to say generic spoilers in there, it's mostly stuff we know or deduced, although one thing could be called a spoiler... More of a general character analysis, than actual game spoilers. Although, it might help you winning Cassandra's heart.

To get a little off-topic I noticed a few pages back on what the elves and some had complaints about their more slim physique. I'm not trying to be disrespectful or anything and if I am I apologize in advance but I wanted to point out a character from anime that has a similar build and is kinda of bada$$. Kenshin Himura. His physique is about the same I would say and he is seem to have no trouble kicking butt.

The article made an interesting point, which I have also pondered over, is that of all the romance options, Cass is probably the last person who has put any thought into romance or a relationship during these troubled times. This would make my Trevelyan all the more determined to win her heart. I think she deserves some happiness.

 

And that line "she acknowledges flaws, but that never stops her from striving for better" is so aptly put. The eternal optimist. Its what really sells Cassandra for me.

Is it confirmed that we are indeed still in 9:40 during the events of DAI? I believe there is some confusion due to Last Flight taking place in 9:41 and 9:42.

 

But if it is 9:40, then Cass would be 36. About the same age as Miranda Lawson.

No, she says that the events of DotS happened 18 or 20 years ago. She never mentions how old she was during those events.

 

We just know that she is currently 18 or 20 years older than she was then, not her exact age then or now.

So here is the thing that has been bugging me....

 

If let's say you play as an Inquisitor who is not big on faith, if say you play as a Dalish Elf who is not into Andraste or the Maker, if you play as someone who is agnostic and more grounded in reality...How will Cassandra respond to you ? Can you even romance her ?

 

The whole thing about Cassandra being the believer as opposed to the pragmatist is the one thing that is making me wary of romancing her, simply because I find it hard to imagine a devout woman of faith being in a relationship with a man who is an indifferent agnostic or realistic freethinker...

Checking on the Mass Effect Wiki, it was said she was born in 2150 while Shepard was born in April 11, 2154.  So depending on when she was born in 2150, she could easily be 3 to 4 years older than Shepard.  Mass Effect 3 takes place in 2186 if the Wiki is correct so Miranda is 35 to 36 depending on when in 2150 she was born.

We just know that she is currently 18 or 20 years older than she was then, not her exact age then or now.

Well, we weren't given an exact age exactly, just that she was pretty much a freshly trained so it goes more in line with her being 15 to 18 to ensure she is a new recruit pretty much.

Looking at that video, I now realize just how huge the Qunari Inquisitor actually is. Will wonder how the romance scene will be like with a Qunari and Dwarf.

Its a couple days late, but I would really like to point out this particular excerpt (no spoilers) regarding Cassandra from the Gamespot review by Kevin VanOrd
