There is some nice reference to Dawn Of the Seeker movie in that clip regarding Byron's advice to her and a lot of other things   And yeah, I can't help but feel it brings back the memories of Morrigan interaction, which is one of the interaction/romance I enjoyed the most. 4 days is a long time indeed. I can't wait! I guess there will be a lot of reloading just to see all the convos for me xD

I fear this is the biggest hurdle for me...Not that she is a person of faith but that she will not be able to romantically accept an Inquisitor who is not of similar race with her and who is not into faith...

You could win her through your good actions I suppose. It's just a matter of picking the right response even if it's one that shows you're not someone who follows the Maker. Gonna take effort to win her heart hehe

Mine too. My Qunari Mage Inquisitor doesn't like the Chantry or believes in the Maker so he doesn't want to be called the Herald. Looks like I'll have to metagame a bit to try and get approval from the disapproval I'll get from saying I don't want to be Herald and my character's pro-mage views.

I'm half expecting an involuntary flinch from a mage Inquisitor with the whole "can set the lyrium in your veins on fire" line.

On the whole subject of faith, a Dwarven Inquisitor would be interesting. The whole practice of worshiping the ancestors and Paragons is similar in spirit to Nevarran tradition, but for a casteless dwarf like Cadash who is considered to be "rejected by the Stone" just by virtue of their birth, religion might not be as big of a deal.

I think her support for the title of Herald of Andraste isn't so much out of personal belief, but what the title represents. There's all manner of chaos, panic, and disorder going on in Thedas and while it might not be the truth, the idea that there is a "chosen one" leading the fight to help restore some peace to the world just might help make everything seem a little more hopeful. Think something along the lines of the mantle of Captain America.

So there are valid reasons to think that Rogue Inquisitors have their best chance to romance Cassandra. Rogues have no magic powers or magic like powers, lyrium or no lyrium.

There are no "dude jaws". Many women have "dude jaws" and men "feminine jaws".

Something I learned from people who played early access:

If you say you don't want to be called the Herald of Andraste, Cassandra will remember that and mention it in another conversation where she asks if you don't believe in the Maker as well. One person played a dwarf and essentially said "I don't believe in the Maker cuz I'm a dwarf" and Cass essentially says "Yeah but you could be a surface dwarf like Varric and...nvm"

I have to disagree on the looks though. There are women who have square jaw but still is beautiful, like Antje Traue. It's more down to each individual's personal preferences in the end. To me, I love her personality the most. I'm a sucker for characters who are kinda hard to break down their wall but when you do then they turned out to be a romantic deep down

I watched a video of that conversation where the Inquisitor was a qunari and agreed that he was the Herald.

 

She still asked him if he believed in the Maker and when he reminded her he's a qunari, she said, "You're not a follower of the Qun, you could be.. I suppose it doesn't matter now. I have to believe that we were put on this path for a reason, even if you do not. Now it simply remains to be seen where it leads us." 

 

So, it seems like Cassandra is going to want to know your exact religious beliefs whether or not you embrace the title.
