Thanks, I had heard that Divine Victoria would be Leliana's name, but didn't realize Cass would take that name, also.

Does making Cassandra the Divine affect your romance with her? If so, how can I avoid that? I'm still relatively early into my game, and I'd like to have my Inquisitor romance her.

Me too. I really don't want Cassandra's potential Divinity to break the romanic bonds between her and the Inquisitor. Does anyone have any knowledge of this stuff?

That was the goal from the beginning. I'm not sure why you don't know this. The story is about Thedas during the Dragon Age itself, not the characters we play as.

It has nothing to do with you being stupid, and a lot more with thinking the devs would change the core basis of the franchise. That's more about being delusional than being dumb. It's like asking for Kingdom Hearts to stop being about the all powerful magic that is friendship. It defeats the purpose to even try.

I'm fine with you disagreeing with me. Even mocking my opinions. Just don't insult my intelligence or act like I'm not as acquainted with the developers/background as you. You do that a lot. Not just with me. As if you're the only goddamn DA fan in the world.

Lulz. If I thought I were the only DA fan in the world, I wouldn't ask to everyone else who obsesses over it, Eluvianus being the one I've talked to the most that knows more about it than me here. I know a lot about DA, more than most anyway. I have no crazy notion of thinking I know even half of what there is to know about the devs or the characters outside of the games and a few of the novels. What I am, however, is sure. And mocking. Sarcastic. And generally off putting. That doesn't change anything about the point I made, no matter the phrasing. Of course, you could have a fit. Get mad. Angry even. Annoyed is pretty common. I've been told I'm annoying, and I definitely agree. Hate all you want, my point stands. I expressed surprised because it's common knowledge. You knowing before hand just makes it more obvious, tbh, that it's not going to happen.

I think it probably hurt a lot more than taser.

Does conscripting the mages pretty much guarantee that she'll be Divine? Also, do you lose approval with her if you ally with them, and one final question, if that decision does end up costing you approval is it still possible to earn that approval back, and romance her?

No, you can get others to be Divine if you side with the mages. Also, do the war table seeker missions to gain approval with Cass so you can romance her even if you full allied with the mages. Though you could have conscripted the mages which Cass approves off.

It's not mocking and sarcastic. I'd actually appreciate a real argument and challenge like that.  Instead of simply arguing about different ways to tell stories (and their various merits), you instead just try to say I'm unaware of something. That's not mocking. Your first move seems to be to think people don't know something. It's just condescension. Like you want to negate people's position first, instead of just disagree.

I'm well aware that common knowledge is common, Street. That won't stop me from speaking my mind, no matter how condescending you think it is. I'll spat out all information on the subject, until I am satisfied with what is said. 

If you don't see it, fine by me. It's not like I have to talk to you everyday. And I don't hate you. I just think you need to know. We could actually have a fun argument or fight about this if you didn't do this.

I don't actually care about debating with you or how you feel about my style of debating, or with anyone for that matter. I didn't join BSN to debate, but if I see something I "know"(think) is wrong, I'll speak on it. Something like, "I was thinking this was the game where Dragon Age could stop being Dragon Age," simply took me aback.  

 

As to everything else, don't really care about opinions long enough enough for an extended conversation on it here in the Cass thread.

I haven't finish the campaign nor got to the part where you do the ball (or actually, haven't initiated official romance with Cass yet -  too busy exploring!). But I will say this, bring Viv, Cass and Varic in one party lol. Because they have a lot of hilarious 3-way party banter instead of the usual two members. This one cracks me up so hard (spoiler below):

We get to know the real reason the Divine wants Cass to bring Varic to her to tell the story of Kirkwall. Apparently Divine Justinia is a big fan of Varic's Hard in Hightown and wants him to autograph her copy of that novel xD Viv is so good at poking at these two lmao

I'd rather my Inquisitor die than have them depart out of some sense duty or something. People shouldn't have to leave because of their jobs. That's too hamfisted for me. I don't want her to be the Divine, even if she's ideal in principal to me.

That's what I thought to after just completing the game. Either have my inquisitor return a happy man or have him go out taking down Cory. It always stings when the hero doesn't get the girl in the end.
