Thanks. Anyone know where to find Inquisition Sword and Shield schematics (Cassandra's stock gear) and the Inquisition stock armor sold by Seggrit?
OMG Yes Please. That sword design is probably my favorite in the game, and it would be a damn shame if it is restricted to Cassandra's starting weapon (which I still have in my backpack because...reasons). And then I'll throw a demon-slaying rune on that and name it "Holy Avenger".
I'll admit that I'm a little disappointed by the crafting system, aesthetics wise. The pre-release impression I got was that we could change a weapon's appearance into whatever we want it to be, while maintaining the same stats. Alas, we are stuck with Tier 3 schematics in late game, and have to use them regardless of fugly weapons.
IDK what the differences are if she rebuilds the seekers or not. My last playthrough I romanced her, and she said she would rebuild the seekers and it would take time. And that she was able to stay for now, that she will always stand by the inquisitors side. On the balcony she talks about how everyone is going to want to see the inquisitor, so she wants to enjoy the moment before he gets pulled away by all of the nobles, etc. who want to talk to him as Leliana alluded to.
Doing a playthrough right now where I told her to let the seekers go, so we'll see if there's any difference. The rebuild seeker ending is at least a variant of a happy ending, compared to the divine ending which pretty much suggests an end for the romance. I'm assuming if she doesn't seek to rebuild the seekers, she simply stays with the inquisition. Regardless she states "I will always stand by your side" so really you can't get more of a happier ending than that. I'll post here when I'm finished the "let the seekers go" version, I will let you know if there are any differences.
Thanks! I guess that watching....
Spoiler
Morrigan and My Warden with that horrible ending, Hawke without Isabela... I cannot expect more than that. I'm sure that they will kill Cassandra in the next DA very well =/

Not really. Just use Tier 3 materials to craft it. DPS of the weapon matters a lot less endgame.
Ah, FINALLY finished my first playthrough. And Cassandra was everything I had hoped for and more. Love her character arc, love her romance, her dialogue. All of it. And my Inquisitor was genuinely afraid of Cassandra becoming Divine. I mean, I was almost shaking when Vivienne said that the vote was going her way. Had there been an option, my Inquisitor would have kissed her(on the cheek, of course).
Can't believe that after all these years, Bioware still manages to provoke that kind of emotional reaction out of me. Bravo, devs. Bravo.
Speaking of the Chantry(Spoilered for length. And, you know, spoilers.)
Spoiler
I love how Biwoare made it so that no matter what happens in the game, the Chantry(and the Circle system) will never be the same. The choices the PC makes, both political and religious, will affect the world of Dragon Age for quite some time. But the devs still ensured that the choices went along the storylines they intend to follow up on. This is best reflected in the choices for Divine, which are fittingly made not through a simple three-way choice, but a reflection of the choices(dialogue and story) made over the course of the entire game. Notice how all three have at least some level of reform, even Vivienne. The Chantry is going to change. The player only gets a hand in how, and to what degree it does so.
Vivienne: Traditional, with a slight hint of reform(mages being in the priesthood, for one). She has the political know-how to affect any needed changes, but won't change things for change's sake alone. Very conservative, politically speaking. Certainly the least firm in her religious beliefs and more of a politician who is using religion to further her agenda, whatever it really is.
Cassandra: Reform, with a respect for and adherence to some level of tradition. The moderate candidate, and certainly the most firm in her religious beliefs. It could be argued that she is the most conservative(depending on your definition) in that she wants to go back to what the Chantry was originally supposed to be in the time of Andraste and the early church. But it's clear that with Cassandra in charge, reform will occur, and it won't necessarily be popular amongst the establishment. But it comes from a fervent belief in an ideal of what the Maker wants for his followers.
Leliana: The liberal, reformist candidate through and through. Tear (nearly)everything down and start over. Mages get freedom, Chantry doctrine is changed wholesale. Good times.
Frankly, it's tough for me to choose. I can see any of my future playthroughs favoring any one of them. I don't think I have it in me to play another Cassandra romance without metagaming it so she isn't Divine, though. That kind of heartbreak...I'll save that for the Solas/Blackwall-mancing playthrough.
Also, I'm really glad that, in the romance scene, Bioware confirmed
Spoiler
that Cassandra/Galyan was really a 'thing'. It adds to Cassandra's character that she's got a romantic history, but not a very substantial one. It shows that she has high standards, has been alone for a very long time, but is not without experience at all. No 40-year-old virgin here. It would have been all too easy to leave that in doubt and simply not mention Galyan at all.
The best part is that she's upfront about it. She doesn't hide her past from the Inquisitor. It felt kind of awkward that she mentioned such a thing so shortly after making love, but it also felt like right for her to say. Like she wanted the Inquisitor to know that she doesn't do this kind of thing on a whim. It was very Cassandra-ish.
All in all, I'm not sure how Bioware can top(giggitty) Cassandra's romance. She dwarfs(giggitty) all other Bioware romances to date, IMO. And this is no slight on the previous LIs I've enjoyed in previous games. They're all great. But Cassandra is just....the best.
So.....what do you guys thinks the first DLC is going to be? If we go by previous games, it should come out in about 5 months, so around April. I'm hoping it only takes place after the main campaign is over. And lets us go to someplace new. I'm thinking Nevarra .
Cassandra just killed a second dragon for me. From half its health to the end she fought it alone and prevailed. She is my queen.
Thank you Cassandra for keeping my squishy rogue out of danger by drawing aggro.
Also, I reran the Adamant Fortress mission swapping Cass out for Blackwall. When I got back to Skyhold and talked to her about the trip into the Fade she said that she was worried when they got word that our party had fallen through a Fade rift.

DA:I dragons sure beat the hell out of Skyrim dragons. I recall beating the first dragon in Skyrim in like 7 to ten minutes. The first dragon I fought in DA:I was the one in the hinterlands, it took 2 and a half hours. At the end of the battle, Cassandra and my Inquisitor, both with no health (but with full guard) put the dragon down. Afterwards, I said to myself, ‘it's exactly the sort of fight one would expect from a dragon…’ In Skyrim, it felt like whacking a stick against papier-mâché. lol.

If I make her Divine what's to become of our relationship? Leliana is too extreme for me and I am uncertain about Vivienne. My Human Mage Inquisitor is uncertain. Any advice.

I actually didn't like it. With unhardened Leliana, it feels like she just made fragile alliances with the heads of the chantry. Wereas an hardened Leliana truly feels like she is in control.

Heh S&B Cassandra is a life saver, in the Act1 finale she was the only 1 alive during the final wave. And I just killed the hinterland dragon and I swear she didn't drop below half health the entire time.
I doubt she's over 38. She told Sera she started training at 6. And apparently this is old for Seekers to begin training. She also completed thus trading just before DotS.
