Your post about Cassandra was incredibly obtuse, and you seemed to think that I hated Cassandra afterwards, so I felt clarification was in order, since I don't dislike the character, or hate her.

You is a general term. You asked a question, and I answered it. If you, and that means anyone just in case, wants to hate. Feel free. 

 

 

I'm pretty sure elven support threads aren't about posting almost exclusively about your hatred of certain elven groups; unless the 'support' in the titles wasn't enough of an indicator about what the threads are meant to be about.

Good thing I don't do that. I've talked at length about how the city elves deserve support. That's not what anyone wants to talk about however, and I'll respond in kind to the current topic. Why don't you try that here?

I really liked Cass's romance. Just wish how the relationship went after the credits was less vague.

Thats what seems to frustrating. If she becomes the divine, and you choose the heartbreak symbol in response at the end, she still says the line "I will always stand by your side" and you still get the balcony scene. If she doesn't become the divine, or rebuilds the seekers, there's no mention of leaving but that line and that scene are the same, aside from the mention of being taken away for coronation. (Why is she so sad in the balcony scene still?)

 

Someone said Gaider wrote Cass for this game? May be good to tweet him for clarification, as this was one thing that certainly confused me.

 

Edit: I sent monsieur Gaider a tweet and a message here on the forums. Hopefully we can get a reply to clear it up.

I hope if there is any "Post" Inquis game, like Witch Hunt, you'll get an option to possibly have a way to save the romance. It's why married status for a Divine matters to me. Does a Divine requires you never marry, and can only have a husband if already married? Because if it does, if you could marry her before she because officially Divine, that might be able to save the relationship.

Even if she couldn't get married, I can see her still continuing the relationship in secret.  On top of that, I think if you went along with the whole Herald of Andraste thing, then the Chantry might be okay with it as it would help rally those of Andrastian faith together and make them happy.  Even if that doesn't happen I can see the Chantry just ignoring the relationship and it just being one of those 'secrets' that everyone knows about but doesn't do anything about.

It's kind of stupid if Andraste herself could get married, but the Divine couldn't. Even stranger that Andraste's husband sucked. So it'd be so much better if there was a healthy relationship involved.

 

That said, I don't like her in the role anyways. As much as good as she can do, is it really the best fit? Besides, she'd look stupid in those robes.

 

I thought the Divine didn't marry BECAUSE of what happened between Andraste and her Husband? 

 

P.S She looks way hotter in armor than in robes

If ever Cassandra ends up the Divine in my current playthrough, I think my inquisitor would stay by her side until her reign ended. They'd still be a powerful pair. And I do see the relationship still continuing in secret. He'd be The Divine's special Knight Enchanter.

That's why I had leliana become Divine   Mage freedom, Elf equality , and I get to stay with Cassandra. Everyone wins! ​Well.... everyone but Vivienne

Vivienne also just seems like the one who could handle the day-to-day job. I can't imagine Cassandra waking up every morning and actually liking what she does. If I were to treat this realistically. Vivienne is a First Enchanter. She gets a +10 to Administration. And I think she knows how to handle people diplomatically. For a bard, it doesn't even seem like Leliana has that skill anymore. She'll just kill anyone in her way.

possibly but as pro mage as i am putting viv in power (a mage at that nothing personal) just screams "a 2nd tevinter" to me but thats my problem. Ill wait til DA4 comes to make final judgement
