In my ending where Cass decided to rebuild the Seekers, she mentioned on the balcony that the Inquisitor would be extremely busy in the coming days and months, and they should spend what little time they have with each other. I assume this is the same for a Cassandra that doesn't rebuild the Seekers or becomes Divine. Hence the reason she sounds and looks a little sad.

Divine or no, I would like to think that Cass and Quizzy "split" the same way the Warden and romanced Leliana "split". They may have to keep things long-distance for periods of time, but they are very much still a couple.

So I just got a response from Gaider on whether the romance ends regardless of her becoming divine or not given the similarity in the scenes. He simply stated "You will have to wait and see, sorry". I'm surprised he responded so quickly, but at least we have some answer to the ambiguous ending. Hopefully the clarity comes sooner than the next title in the series.

I'm guessing the dlc will answer some of these questions. However, I'm guessing if she doesn't reform the seekers and doesn't become divine, the romance will definitely continue and will be the "safe" option.

I have to say that I prefer Leliana as the new Divine as long as she unhardened. This causes her to use diplomacy to help smooth things over while she places major reforms. For anyone who want the mages free of the chantry, an unhardened Leliana leads to the best outcome.

As for Cass reforming the Seekers, sure her work might take her away from the Inquisitor from time to time but I imagine the Inquisitor will be quite busy with his own work as well. Such as diplomatic missions which, honestly, Cass is not the best at. Besides, Cass would be the last person to break up a relationship just because of some time spent separated. Cass is the definition of dedication. She says it herself, she does nothing that is not worth doing with all her heart.

And thats why we love you Cass. <3

I'm sure that there will be love letters, complete with mushy, poorly written poetry. Purple prose will be in full effect, meter and verse will be thrown out the window, and to know the true rhyme scheme will be like looking into the mind of madness itself. Needless to say it will be adorable.

Well I don't know, that's why I posed the question as the balcony scene was 99% identical whether she became divine or not. This was his response on whether the romance ends regardless of whether she becomes divine or not given the similarities of the scenes.

That is expected, at this point they probably not even have a plan what they'll gonna do next. Also, that scene meant nothing anyway since it just a recycled of divine outcome. Beside Dorian and Bulls have a similar scene and same topic too, they just respond about it in different way.

That's the answer I expected you'd get to be honest. Classic Gaider.

Well at least we know it will be answered in the future, rather than be left at that forever.

You could ask the same question to any writers who write other characters and get the same respond. They don't want to tied themselves too soon. It will give them less freedom.

Also, I suspect we might not have to wait for long. Since they have the keep version of DAI this soon, there might have an expansion already in talks.

I know multiplayer DLC is confirmed to be coming first. I just hope they don't take a minor story DLC route, but an actual expansion. They left a lot of things regarding the inquisitor as a cliffhanger, so I'm assuming this was the reason. I'm more of a fan of post ending content, rather than pre.

Off topic as ****, but does anyone know how to solve Archer Puzzle in Ghilan'nain's Grove? I got two of the pillars to drop (lighting the three torches and standing on the tile while pulling lever) and one of the pillars is 'free'. How do I drop the last one? Looked every where in that room and couldn't find anything else.

Allow one of your companions to stay in the gated area where you can activate the flame, and then click on the lever to raise it back up; your trapped companion should now see another lever nearby that will lower the gate at the opposite end of the room, where you can lower another gate. Just be ready to have a companion near the lever where you can shoot the bolt of energy into the circle.

If I get the Cassandra as the Devine ending, I will just break the romance off. She does not need the contradictions that that will come from trying to maintain the romance. My Inquisitor just spoke with her (after the Ball) about it, and it looks like she wants to go through with becoming Devine.

She doesn't want to become Divine, she just feels like if the Thedas needs her to be, she'll accept that.

Hmm, if that whole Divine-romance thing might be covered in a future DLC or something, I wonder if it's too much to hope for that they'll answer the same question with Leliana as well.

Maybe the dialogue was different for you? After her personal mission, when she asked my opinion on whether she should reform the Seekers, I told her to let them go. So a Chantry reformation seems to be her new "crusade"(at least it sounds like it is).

Here's the kicker, even if you choose the heartbreak symbol in the conversation where she reveals she's been chosen, the romance plays exactly the same.

A critical element in her becoming divine (in addition to whether you chose reform chantry dialogue options throughout the game) is what you tell her when she discusses her ideal version of the chantry. You can say you agree, she's too idealistic, or that you don't want the same things as her.

Lol, I commend your skills. Today I was trying to screencap my inquisitor in the templar mission, and right as I saw the perfect shot and hit print screen that demon that looks naked pops up, his ass literally center screen. Couldn't stop laughing as I knew with my luck I just screened the wrong thing.
