You should romance her only because it's cool to hate on it. Everyone be hipster.

o.o
Reminds me of the car ride between Micheal and Trevor where M calls T a hipster.
I was laughing that entire conversation.

The complaints about the lack of Josie-sex are both amusing and irritating.

Then maybe they should try some

She should have broken it out for the Inquizzy.
It would have led to drooling, intense cuddling and more.
As someone who spent a decent portion of their life as a soldier i will only say this.
You react to killing in my experience to three different ways.
All of them shape what sort of person you will be once the "war" is over.
The most common is guilt and self loathing; lamenting the ability to take life so easily, cursing whatever choices led you to that point, and burying it along with whatever associated guilt and pain beneath a shield of some sort, chemical dependency, faith, whatever.
The second type and this is the rarest in my experience is the inverse; the self congratulation of that very ability.
Taking life becomes a success, winning, you survive, the enemy dies, its the rarest because i honestly think, even with training many people aren't geared toward the mentality of taking life.
Third is trying to leave that life in the past, doing something new, become a new person, bury the unpleasantness and trying to move on.
Its never that easy in my experience but i have seen many try.
Anyway.
I found Cass...scars and all; someone i could understand very well.
Yeah, I remember you had this past.
When I was younger, I thought it might've been cool, but I've been barred from even joining the military. lol. I won't get into it.
One thing that I always sticks in my mind is that I could never talk to my grandpa about WW2. It wasn't something he glorified. I know that much.
Then maybe they should try some

I think the DA equivalent would be elfroot or deep mushrooms

Mmm not by the soldiers that fought it, but by the history they made.
Its one of life's little ironies i suppose.
To many if you ask them; that war, all war if they have this context is black and white.
They forget that because of German Aggression and Japanese advances in the southern Pacific; Oil which was being sent to Japan for consumption was diverted to Britain to aid in their struggle against the Germans, nineteen months of oil to run an entire nation.
This leads to America being struck by the Japanese; Just as the sanctions from the prior rally the Germans to go under the banner of autocracy.
Its easy to label Hitler evil, its difficult apparently to acknowledge why he was elected, how he could have taken power.
To not realize the implications of the prior on the first, anyway we can discuss this later if you like.
I just found that comment amusing is all.

I wouldn't mind discussing it. I'm just not following your train of thought. I never said war wasn't necessary, if you got that impression. I'm saying it's Hell. It's necessary, but nothing one should aspire to. Like I said earlier, what one should aspire to is chillaxing on your porch, having loved ones, and not having anyone f*ck with you. Whether it's war fcking with you, or just some idiot down the street. The best thing is getting away from it all. ![]()
As for WW2, I'm kind of a history buff, so I could talk about it if you like. I'm only saying that my grandpa never made a big deal of it-- and was probably troubled. I'm guessing the latter. Because he didn't even like watching WW2 movies either.
So, I've heard that the Cassandra romance has a lot of moments in the main story. What must I do to ensure they're unlocked because I restarted my game a little while ago when I couldn't get Cass to dance with me at the Ball. Josephine comes to talk to me at the end instead.
Advance the Abyss quest until you are done with the Crestwood part, then go back to Skyhold to talk to Cass. She should give you her personal quest and you have to complete it to get the romance locking scene (technically you should complete the Abyss quest first to avoid a visual bug, but whatever).

My train of thought is that glorification leads to people forgetting why they were fought, and was that war necessary i wonder?
I mean Warhawks on both sides of it wanted it, but was it needed?
It brought the world into the modern age, but is this age actually a good thing?
It exists therefore it is right, that is logic i dispute.
To the point?
My own great uncle, his two brothers, and a number of cousins and alike also fought.
I think the grand total of 38 Schneiders went to fight for the Wehrmacht or State Security.
Precious few made it back; a handful were crated off to Russia and died even after the war.
I only met my own Great Uncle; we talked a bit about the war, he had a lot of bitterness and rage about it.
He viewed and even fifty years later still viewed their cause as right.
He pointed out to me was the division of east and west for a half century better then a united europe?
I had no answer.

I just had a thought. Is it possible that Cass actually rejects the Inquisitor during the scene where she asks him about the flirting?
Or does the scene simply not trigger in that scenario?

I never thought of it much from that perspective.
I only know a little about what the common German experienced. My dad was also military, but not in the war. He was stationed in Germany afterwards. I think he got in plenty of fights with them. ![]()
In the longterm though, I think it paid off. I mean, we got the Beatles, Elvis, and McDonalds. That's basically defined the entire post WW2 age (Beatles, Elvis, and McD's just show up in new forms over and over again). That isn't so bad. ![]()
Whatever new wars are coming, it's the one that wants to get rid of Elvis and McD's. Whether it's a revival of communism or revolt against globalization, or reactionary Islam. One of those three.
And at this very moment a man is dying a death related to the overconsumption of Big Macs. Thanks, McDonald's.

She reject Female Quizzi in that scene, no idea about too low approval ones.
Ah, no doubt Cassandra and my rogue inquisitor (still thinking about the sarcastic rogue Hawke I just finished two days ago) will have huge disagreements down the road, but I absolutely love her character. I just got to the "Dragon Age Inquisition" screen after saving Haven so I haven't met the full cast yet. But the inquisition has started.

The toppings contain Potassium Benzoate.

That's bad.

United under the swastika and the Shoah? Is that a serious question?
