To be fair, Cassandra and many other characters wouldn't be nearly as interesting if they lead happy lives.
And Isabela is still my favorite character. Who doesn't want to fall in love with a wild pirate queen
Yes, all characters should be a variation on Hamlet, that won't cause a massive cliche problem. lol
So the state of the romance might be adressed in a DLC eh?
Hopefully.
Though at the same time I'm wondering wether I truly want to know what happens ![]()
It'd be really nice if the state of the romance in Cassandra and Leliana's (for the Warden) Divine endings was addressed at some point. Here's hoping...

Considering how much Leliana changes when she becomes Divine, I could easily see her change the rules as well regarding Grand Clerics and whatnot having wifes or husbands.
And otherwise she'll probably just "silence" those who dissapprove ![]()
Advance the Abyss quest until you are done with the Crestwood part, then go back to Skyhold to talk to Cass. She should give you her personal quest and you have to complete it to get the romance locking scene (technically you should complete the Abyss quest first to avoid a visual bug, but whatever).
Which visual bug?
Where the scaffolding is still there when it's suppose to be gone

Given all her changes surrounding non-humans and mages, though, her having a non-human/mage lover would probably bring some scandal to her reforms, sadly.
...though given the fact that she's gutsy enough to try and change this stuff in the first place, I guess I can see Leliana not caring much...not sure if Cassandra would be the same.

If Alistair or Loghain can keep popping up as the King of Ferelden in every game, then so can Cassandra or Leliana as Divines.
EDIT: I didn't pay attention. Yes, I hope so as well. I would love a moment in a DLC where Cassandra can reuinite with my inquisitor.
she seemed fine with it from the end-game dialogue i got. Who knows things might be good(though even i admit some skepitism)Cass needs to stay very far away from Leliana before that crap hits the fan.
Hell Leliana probably would drag the Chantry and Inquisition down with her.
*.* Cass or Viv are better choices.

Cass said that she wasn't going to follow a new Divine blindly and she's not a fan of Leliana's plans before she even get the post (dialog option in the scene that start with Mother Giselle talking to Cass about becoming Divine).
About Leliana, I've read
Spoiler
One is the pinnacle of suedom. The other the pinnacle of a final mental breakdown. Kind of funny really, if sad.
Just wanted to drop by and say how much I adore Cassandra. I liked her from her brief appearances in DA2, but during Inquisition she definitely became one of my favourite characters. Tough and hard-faced when she needs to be, but also incredibly compassionate and not averse to fangirling over trashy literature. I nearly died laughing when I saw the scene where the Inquisitor catches her reading one of Varric's book, and I love how there's an entire banter arc where she basically becomes his biggest fan and tries to get him to tell her what happens next. Love their relationship so much.
heh, thats the problem with aproveal gateing tho, I mean I just got to skyhold and talked to hawke to then her wanting to beat up Varric, then to wanting me to get Varric to write the next book, in the space of (from my perspective) 2 mins.

I don't mind the Suedom actually. It's not really Sueish anyways, since that job sucks in the first place.
I had always thought by unhardening her, she wouldn't want to become Divine.. so it's nice to know there's the option still.
Is it wrong that I made Cassandra use a pink shield? I crafted it for her out of Lazurite, at first i was going to call it "Represion, Chantry Approved". Then I was like nahhh she's not Devine yet. So I called it

It actually doesn't make any sense and is a hug-and-feels kind of ending, especially considering the events that directly proceed it. It's an insult, really.

I haven't seen it.
I don't mind hugs-n-feels in principle, if someone actually worked to get such a thing. I'm a big proponent of rewarding good performance/gameplay (rather than being against hugs-n-feels, no matter what).
But from what I know, you don't have to work at all in this case. It's like any other circumstance?

Cassandra would sooner want to punch things, just for being there. I can't imagine her waking up every day, having all those attendants and brownosers serving her tea, dressing in stupid robes, and then sitting on a chair all day waving and doling out boons and judgements.
It may sound appealing on paper, but the actual reality would blow. After two weeks, she'll start slugging people for no reason.
At least, that's how I want Cass to stay. If the job actually changes her, then it's for the worst. I didn't wait 3 years to play with Cass on a team, only to change her character and lose her.
