Something I found funny. When you decide to spend time with Cassandra, the kissing and fade to black sex scene happen right near the smiths. Guess Cass is an exhibitionists. LOL

Actually Cassandra's quarters is the armory. She has a bed roll on the top floor with her stuff. Seekers pack light and materialism is probably frowned upon.

And those 'spend some time' scenes are probably little more than make out sessions.

I made a joke out of that on this thread lol. They are two stories above, and the smiths probably can't hear over their hammers and furnaces. It’s weird that Cassandra never goes to the Inquisitor’s bedchamber... I swear, that bedchamber is the most useless thing and place in the whole game. lol

edit: Same applies to Cory, I guess.

He could have said more demoralizing things. In a way, I saw his underlying cause as just misguided and sad.

I've not read the entirety of the Codex, but is it ever explained why Corypheus chose the Conclave as the site for his attempted ascension? Or is it just assumed that he intended to kill off the leadership of the Maker's church for symbolic and vanity-related reasons?

I don't know. Same with Celene. I guess they're just the best targets to sow chaos and despair among most people. Then they'd follow him.

That sense of despair led them to believe in you (the Herald) instead. He wasn't counting on that, but he was on to something.

So, uh... Cassandra has apparently influenced me more than I expected. I suddenly find myself making [disgusted noise] at stuff that I dislike.

With any luck, they'll use the Inquisitor's bedchamber as the trigger to start DLC (Wake up next to your love interest, cutscene, then falls through to the start of the DLC).

Otherwise, I'm an Inquisitor looking to rent my bedchamber out to someone.

But to keep this in line with the thread topic, if my Inquisitor and Cass have a child, I really hope one of the first things the child does is imitate Cassandra's disgusted noise expression.

I think my Inquisitor would beam with happiness, while Cass goes through hell and back.

I don't want her to have a child. That means some player's qunari had a child with her, and she'd just die in childbirth from a 30 lb infant with horns.

Not to mention it's ****** gross and abominable. But everyone's heard me ridicule that enough. :P

You so salty for no reason, though. And animals with horns aren't born with them.

Knowing BioWare it'll be human or nonexistent. That's how these things go. Nothing to worry about, honestly.

Salty? I don't know. It's probably more than that. Irreconcilable hatred of some ideas.

Cuuuute. I really like the idea of Cass as a mom. She'd be so schmoopy... but also terrifying.

And now I'm singing Harper Valley PTA.

I mean the Dead Sea is salty, so you can still be salty. Just more salty. Like salt mine.

Guess I'll have to make Cass Divine. (sigh) I don't like Leliana's policies and no way I'm setting a precedent by having a mage as Divine.

There are just no happy endings in Thedas. Unless... hey, Mother Giselle, have you ever considered being Divine?

I'm kind of hoping that DA4 (or even a DLC) have Cass abdicate from the Divine position once all her reforms are in place to give it to Mother Giselle.

Her dialogue right after the epilogue (to make her rejoin the party) is the equivalent of "I totally hate this job already and I'm not even crowned yet".

Not only is that not true, it also really doesn't matter. It's actually really stupid to not choose Vivienne solely because she is a mage. A traditional one at that.

If one mage can be ellected as Divine, why not another in the future?

Even if I trusted Vivienne enough, I wouldn't trust the oen that comes after her.

I just hope selecting Cass will be apropriatelly dramatic and hearthbreaking ala Morrigan in DAO. So far, I've had one talk about it and the romance option was "I like your determination" rather than "What about us.".

You're relationship issues aside, electing Vivienne for Divine does not set a precedent for mage Divines.

1) Vivienne was elected because of the Inquisition, specifically for being a friend of the Inquisitor.

2) Vivienne is highly conservative and I doubt she'll allow mages to gather the notion of joining her in her glory.

3) Who cares? If it sets a precedent for more intelligent, cunning, and even minded people, who just happen to have magic as well as understand it's dangers, who will keep magic in check, you should be happy.

Hating on someone just for having magical powers is dumb. It's how s/he treats and uses said powers that matters.

I'm not "hating" on her. The matter of fact is that allowing a mage to become Divine goes against the extablished culture and alters it to accept a more pro-mage view. This extablishes a precedent; more specifically "mages have been White Divines".

Once that door has been opened, there is little to no way of closing it. What if the next time there is a politically savy Orlesian mage, she is more akin to Calpernia or Hadriana than Vivienne?

SMH. Mage haters will be mage haters. It's why I can't wait to go to the Imperium. No irrational Templar rhetoric to deal with. Just legal mages that follow laws and dead mages that break them.

Then you don't elect her. See we have this thing called Grand Clerics who willingly choose to vote for someone. Vivienne's political savviness didn't elect her. The Inquisition did. And for your information, Calpernia has done absolutely nothing wrong outside of fighting for her country and trying to restore it. She didn't use blood magic. She freed slaves. And treated everyone fairly. Of course she's a mage, so she also kills children in their sleep, but eh, who doesn't?
