Maybe Justinia was secretly Andraste in disguise.
I mean, after the post-credits scene, I'm willing to believe anybody could be a vessel of someone old and special.
Spirit of Aid, merges with Andraste, then with Justinia.

There's still enough room for providence. Corypheus didn't have to drop to Elvhen orb. The Inquisitor didn't have to pick it up. It could have been anybody to walk in on the sacrifice (imagine if Gamlen was at the Conclave and was the one who interrupted the ritual) or no one at all. But Corypheus dropped the orb when the sacrifice was interrupted by the Inquisitor who picked it up and was given the anchor.
You make it sound like that would be a bad thing.
Do any of you know Cassandra well enough to feel comfortable with co-writing party banter with an OC of mine? It's for a different Tevinter character that I thought would provide an interestingly different perspective on the events of Inquisition.

Just have her make disgusted noises.
She'll disagree with pretty much everything you agree with. You can go from there.

I'm sure it'll be present, but I want something interesting.

Don't be so sure; my Inquisitor actually fully befriended Cassandra.
My Inquisitor completely befriended Solas and they disagreed, on literally every choice I made in game. What does that tell you?

honestly, I don't know what to tell you. I don't know anything about your Tevinter, and there are times I don't think Cassandra knows what to believe anymore. Sometimes she takes hard stances, and then I tell her I admire it, she thinks she's blind.
Like I told you earlier, the Inquisition is run by confused people. ![]()

I figured that I'd PM/IM the interested party, would tell them about my character, and then we could write it together.

Not to derail, but here's that post from Sheryl I mentioned.

The only solution is the eradication of the Andrastarian taint, using punishments so terrible no one will dare follow that sick creed again.
Sheryl Chee: "Look! It's that anti-Andrastian fellow, torturing my children and putting my neighbors to the sword and forcing me to give up my faith! I'm terrified for my life, so he must be right!
Oh, well! Rationality and science for all!"

Pro-chantry moderate/reformist with an idealistic streak, romantic nature, brash temperament, strong sense of faith and duty with a decent dose of dry wit.
Go from there.

What's this in reference to? This, I guess? I'm not sure I'd call that a defense of the Chantry so much as a criticism of radical anti-clericalism as practiced by the People's Republic of Albania. Or the Qunari. At any rate, the Chantry at the end of this game doesn't resemble what that hater was asking for. Or if it does, only with a hardened Leliana. (although I'd still say that's not quite what she's doing)
No one gets to destroy the Chantry (nor should they). They just get to pick their flavor of reform.
Yeah. Strange. Have you been stalking our posts?
no of course not. why would u think that.

Anyone who was hoping they would was kinda fooling themselves tbh

I think they can get pretty close. You can basically be a Carta thug or just some random Joe with your own motivations, and then subvert things about the Chantry. And people actually listen to you. Because you have some elven artifact that screwed with your hand.
Some people like the guy who posted that above can take glee in it.
When Sheryl made that post, I was expecting a stronger foundation for the Chantry in this game. She sounds like a fan. But to me, it's become very weak. Pathetic, in some lights.
Everyone wants to laugh at the Dalish, but the Chantry is also in bad shape.

That you asked him every possible question that popped up in conversation. ![]()

Yes, but as a mage, my Inquisitor wanted to further his knowledge in the arcane. Who else would he talk to? Dorian? "Tevinter is not that bad, oh wait you asked a different question" Pavus or Vivienne, who the only thing magically inclined about is her fashion sense?

I never saw it that way. We can dispatch a threat to the mages in the Dalish clans by siding with the mages and electing a Divine who is accepting of elves, Clan Lavellan can become heroes of Wycome and one of the leaders of the city-state, the Dalish can have sanctuary in Skyhold (which is located in the Dales) with an elven Inquisitor... I'm really not seeing much to laugh at. It's actually pretty good outcomes for an elven Inquisitor and the People.

Inquisitor; Blah blah blah.
Cassandra: (Disgusted noise)
Inquisitor: I am sorry, what was that Cassandra?
Cassandra: I am sorry Inquisitor something just got stuck up my nose.
Oh, come on, if we start taking coincidence as divine intervention, then Zevran dumb luck makes him the next messiah. This is all about the Inquisitor being in the wrong place at the right time. Is it so terrible for our own actions to be the defining factor when it comes to forging our own fates?
The game explores Faith in all its forms. If you wish to express the belief that we forge our own fates, you can. Of course, those who are more faithful will still see the Maker's hand on your shoulder guiding you,
Personally, I started with an Inquisitor who didn't believe, then began to, had his faith dashed after the Fade but still kept the pretence so as to not discourage the people and troops and maintained just the tiniest bit of hope the Maker had an hand in it.

Pretty much.
The truth didn't really matter in the end. The people and soldiers needed it, so why take away that bit of hope when you can still give it to them.
