Cassandra: Is it a story about dragons?

Anthony: I think you've heard all of the stories I know about dragons. Wouldn't you rather hear the tale of King Calenhad?

Cassandra: I like the ones about dragons better. Can I go hunting with you next time?

Anthony: (toussles Cassandra's hair) Maybe some day, although no one has seen a high dragon around for a long time.

But I would switch King Calenhad for Caspar the Magnificent, the Pentaghasts have their own overgrowing book of family legends, they don't need borrow from lesser families.

Cassandra: ...and then, the head Seeker bangs the Chief Inquisitor.

Inquisitor: Wow what a tale Cassandra, I... Wait, what?

And little beknowst to them both, the tale of Calenhad really did contain dragons...

That adorable bit of dialogue makes me kinda want her brother to appear as a memory within the Fade, if we end up venturing there again?

I'd be willing to say that if Anthony Pentaghast makes an appearance it would probably be from a desire demon trying to get inside Cassandra's head during one of our trips into the Fade. Note that should the attempt fail said demon and everything in a five mile radius is going to be in a world of hurt.

Option B is that the spirit of Anthony pops up.

Cassandras family nearly brought the dragons to extinction. That's legit.

we should really leave the writing of party banter to everyone in the forums, forget writers

Having skimmed the 'respond to Cassandra's threat' thread in the Scuttlebutt forums, I am quite confident we should leave the witty banter to the professionals.

I think its a nice challenge to make her smile and I like the fact that she is sceptical/unsure about you at first and might see you as a danger yourself first (judging by the last trailer). I guess we will have to work for that smile of hers  .

It seems it just takes her a while to warm up to others. I assume if I'm not a jerk and we spend time together beating up evil, she'll smile sooner or later.

Well depending on how Hawke dealt with the Arishok in DA2, she did give Varric a smile when he told the tale. I think she smiles at people she respects and trusts. I'd like to think so, anyway.

She likes heroism and heroes. She's such a romantic (it's not all about love). Also, I doubt she trust people, Byron told her not to...

I wonder if Cassandra Swooning gets unlocked earlier if you managed to defeat a dragon solo instead of with a group.

Bonus swoon points if you do it without armor.

Nope, she's not going to believe you if you do it without armor and it will actually cause the romance process to fail, because she's going to think your are just making stuff up to look awesome.

I'm having a hard time picturing Cassandra swooning, although it'd be awesome.

You don't have to. She does if Hawke duels the Arishok xD

This could be the best argument for a potentially bisexual romance option in Cassandra. (:

Doing things like attempting to fight a dragon single handedly might raise Cassandra's ire. You're the only person who can close the Fade tear, risking that just to impress her probably wouldn't go over too well.

No, it happens if you and her kill the dragon by yourselves. To the Pentaghasts, killing dragons are known as date night. :P

The PETA should have sued them long ago.

Matt Rhodes made a piece a while back that pretty much makes me think of Cassandra/Inquisitor date night:

I'm thinking Cass is that cute type of love interest that gets flustered really easily when it comes to romance and when I imagine that it's really cute.

Not sure if I want to romance her, Sera or scribbles out of the gals the most just yet... They all appeal to me in different ways from the little I know.

Yes, thats exactly what we need, PETA butting into our awesome dragon slaying... throwing dragon's blood on people wearing dragon armor

I don't know. I'm not much of an animal rights person, but I find myself rooting for the dragon more often than for the dragonslayer.
