I wonder if Cass can still bare children o.o

Age decreases fertility, not to mention the effect of stress on the reproductive organs.

Plus she could be barren to begin with...

I wonder if i asked a dev would they answer.

Out of curiosity, why do you care? My guess is you're never seeing another kid in dragon age outside of OGB.

Honestly?

Curiousity.

It's about like me wondering about the same for Gaspard or Celene.

Look. Cass is cool and all, butt it's really unhealthy to stay mired in the past. Even for love. Inquisitor needs to move on.

The only reason to move on is if she becomes I divine. Other than that there is no split.

Freudian slip there? LOL

Guess you could say that you hate to see her go, but you love to watch her leave? (I used this one already)

Lulz. I wish. My phone is awful. Personally, Cass will be as much mine as she is either way. That is to say not at all.

Not everyone is like that. If your inquisitor wants to throw away love, be our guest. I like TMA LIVE's idea however and saw a similar thing happening with my character. My inquisitor would try to get over it with his work, but you don't just "get over" love. Especially when you didn't break up for losing it, but simply because a job got in the way.

Sure, Doesn't really change my point but sure. I know "love," whatever that is, is hard to get over, but after decades, it'd probably be very unhealthy, to not be "over it," does that mean the Inquisitor needs to stop "loving" Cassandra? No. Doesn't change that it'd probably be for the best

I assume you mean for the best. Not a smart ass remark, just guessing. If so, then it depends really. I don't think everyone's the same, and staying hung up on an old love may actually be beneficial if you think about it. If you're not out banging random chicks or looking for a new spark, you're more concentrated on your work. In fact, taking that part of your life off the table and distracting yourself with your work may be fulfilling. Liberating even.

Yeah, it's that time of the night. Was actually in the middle of editting it.

Maybe. Not that those other things will suddenly disappear, mind you. Not for most of us. Those people exists sure, but it's so minimal, it hardly factors into my generals. When I say getting shot in the head will kill you, that isn't necessarily true either.

We know he didn't say it, bro. Gaider doesn't answer questions before the fact.

Even so that question is quite speculative. Anyway, I was making a joke, as the late great Christopher Hitchens once wrote "The struggle for free intelligence has always been a struggle between the ironic and the literal mind." Therfore, try not to take such things so literaly, it makes you come off as stale as 5 day old biscuits.lol

So I just watched Dawn of the Seeker and it was about how Cassandra becomes right hand of the Divine. It was interesting how many references to the movies they made in the game... her brother Anthony, the dragon fight, and her romance with Regalyan. Also she looks totally different in the movie

I was about to say I knew you were joking, and I was just being an ass, but that biscuit comment means we have to fight. Everyone knows I'm the freshest slice.

I don't think it would ever disappear, assuming you mean that depression for staying hung up on a past love, but it doesn't have to be all consuming.

That said, I liked your argument, lol. It was a very colorful way of putting your point.

It takes place 20 years prior...

On a sidenote, I'm more curious of my non-mage Trevelyan's age. I don't know why the description bothers me, but it does. It's the only origin that kind of pigeon holes you into something on the youthful side. Which I don't want. I was totally set on being an older (and human) in this game.

What do you mean?

It still looks like Cassandra's basic features to me, despite the style. She's just very young. I thought that was what the above poster was confused about, but whatever.

Oops. Nevermind. You said "And" it's anime. I misread it as just "It's anime". Confused me.

It doesn't look anything like Cassandra to me, IMHO. The entire face shape and bone structure is different.

I suppose you could just ignore the description. There's nothing else in the game I know of that addresses your age.

ETA: I just find it funny I wanted something completely different. I felt the game was more geared toward an older protagonist, so I stubbornly made mine a younger guy, 22ish. It was good from a role play perspective, because initially he was quite unsure-he was just like, "Uh, whatever you want, people who know more than me." But he grew into it by the end of the game. Anyway, back to the original point, I think you can head canon the age any way you want, because the gameplay doesn't address your age in any way I can think of.

What is it about the human mage origin that makes you younger than the other human backgrounds?

Non mage. It says you're the youngest sibling. I suppose my brothers and sisters could be old bags. Or your ages are simply very close. That works for me personally.
