Non mage. It says you're the youngest sibling. I suppose my brothers and sisters could be old bags. Or your ages are simply very close. That works for me personally.

You're still the youngest in the mage origin, given the codex entry is just about the same, only saying you didn't have to join the Chantry because you became a mage. The issue is that you probably won't be, let's say, 34 and still not a part of the Templars, for instance. Of course, if you wanted to be nonmage and 34, you could just say you were going to become a cleric. Problem solved.

As for not being a templar, my roleplay was that I simply did not want to be because I started off sympathizing with the mages due to a mage female GF.

 

Needless to say, his outlook changes a bit after Redcliffe. Cassandra of course has a hand in that too.

I thought the mage origin didn't touch on age. If it does, my bad.

 

I don't want to be a Templar. I just kind of want to be a cleric/brother. Like Sebastian basically (down to the lack of inheritance storyline). But I don't want to just be "starting" my career. When they say at the Conclave "in the interests of family" specifically, it makes me think the character is only beginning their life.. and their interests are just marginally Chantry related.

I doubt it. She doesn't seem like she'll bend the rules, as Leliana is confirmed as doing if Divine.

Hopefully, if they plan on moving away from Southern Thedas, then they will see it a good time to finally close loose ends (not just this one).

From the comments she makes in game, no. Just avoid her becoming divine if you want them to still be together. It's pretty easy.

I don't doubt it happens, but I'm not sure she, personally, would do it. Obviously, she doesn't yet at least. It's a bittersweet ending and it doesn't even cross her mind.

The way I see it, you're going to have to make a bold decision either way. All of them require courage. Leliana and freeing all mages. Cass and losing love, because you value balance/moderation. Or Vivienne and granting mages power in the Chantry.

 

Pick your poison.

I'm still jealous of Sera though. Win some, lose some.

 

That said, and I'm making a big assumption here, but I think she would have been romancable for females if the game was human only, as originally planned.

Well I'm starting my Cadash/Cassandra play-through. Before the game came out, I wasn't even thinking of ever romancing Cassandra, but during my first play-through, I fell for that tough warrior  :wub: . I hope she loves this dwarf more than Varric.  ;)

You can still come here all you want. I don't say things to change your opinion or persuade you. I simply don't like it. As Cassandra says "Deal with it." I myself "deal" with the fact that I share this game with a bunch of freaks.

 

But find comfort in the fact that it doesn't matter. I don't make that big deal of myself. You shouldn't either. :D
