I got the impression that Qunari society accepted trans people when Bull was talking about Krem. And it's not if a society can't be highly authoritarian and have some measure of legal/social acceptance for trans people. (Iran is and does)

I get the idea that Bull has a different interpretation of the Qun than just about any other Qunari we've ever met, but yes I know of the conversation in question. It has very little to do with the logic, and a lot more to do with he's the only one that supports a lot of his thinking while still claiming to be of the Qun.

I know the pixie cut and strong jawline is not everyone's cup of tea, but Hawt DAYUM is Cassandra easy on the eyes or what? Quite the stunner, this one. Couple that with all the facets of her personality, and she's an Absolute knockout.

 

And there's something about her facial features, thats equal parts gorgeous and adorable

Bah. The way I look at it, if Cass the ultimate badass can't get laid while she's divine, then so can the Inquiz.
 
However, Gaider said "Wait and see" on whether it was the end of the romance or not. Patrick seems to suggest Leli will keep her romance going even if she's Divine, and make changes. Whether Cass will do the same, or if you'll need to marry her before she becomes the divine, only time will tell. We might one day get something like an Awakening expansion.

Really hoping for a decent DLC like the Citadel. I know Bioware and the writers carp about the relationships and romances, but they sell like hotcakes. So...here's hoping we can some sort of resolution on the Cass romance.

Well, there's been a war going on.. Probably not that important what specifically happened.

Interesting question. When I thought of it at all, I figured it had happened before even DA2 and it simply wasn't rendered in DA2 because of the limitations of the DA2 engine.

Though every time I look at the scars, especially on her left cheek, I am really in admiration of the job they did with it. It looks like a real scar.

Also, random thoughts:

 

I wonder what Bioware's rendition (ie. non-anime) of Cassandra during her Dawn of the Seeker days would be. Maybe less scars, less chiseled face, angles not as sharp, more baby fat around the cheeks. Can totally see why she had waves of suitors

 

 

 

Should Cass become divine, I would imagine that every Pentaghast and relatives of Pentaghasts would suddenly claim to be close relatives of hers. Cassandra edges that much closer to throttling someone

So do I... I just think it's likely because of all the conflict lately. Lots of people getting scars lately. Even my pretty boy mage I recently made.

Personally, I think another Seeker got the jump on her. I mean.. who else could do it?

We have similar ideas.

I like to think she tried to talk Lambert down off screen and it led to a battle.

It occurred after the meeting between him and the initial arrival of the templar knight commanders but before he officially annulled the accord and prepared to abandon the spire.

There was about a two week window there.

She doesn't mention it because she views it as a personal failing.

She could have prevented the Templar secession.

My opinion of Lambert's skill dropped significantly when he let Cole get the better of and actually kill him. No way Cassandra would actually lose in a fight with him. Plus Cassandra didn't leave the Seekers until after Lucius took command given her codex entry.

What more resolution do you expect them to give? Cass's arc has plenty of resolution (unless divine, but even that was pretty clear), almost all romances in this game do aside from Dorian and Solas.

Cole assassinated Lambert.

He didn't defeat him.

He picked a moment when he was unarmed and out of his armor; I believe the last time that happened to Cassandra she nearly died.

Also your opinion of Lambert dying due to that doesn't detract from his martial skill.

He should be able to stop Cole regardless. He has magical powers. If Cullen can defeat Demon Cole, Lambert should be able to defeat a weakened spirit Cole. The Litany should be enough for that.

We still don't have any details on how it went down.

Cole might literally have gotten lucky.

Cole just said it killed him.

Not how; that said Lambert was caught off guard and pinned to a bed with a knife to his throat.

Cullen defeating Cole in combat isn't comparable.

As I said it appears assassination not battle.

I recall him just dozing off or something. Not much of a chance when you're about to crash and someone like Cole sneaks in.

Without weapons or armor anyway.
