Don't care. He has magical powers. I expect more from the Lord of the Seekers. He's not some god-tier warrior anymore than Cassandra actually is, "The greatest swordsman of an Age." Not if he loses to the very thing he's trained to combat.

He's not trained to combat it though. Cole is one of those anomalies, with unusual magic. It's unpredictable. Like hedge mages. He's more of a unique assassin than mage. 

 

Cole can even fool our own Inquistor. If you kick him out of the group, you forget that he even existed.

He's a Seeker, and Seekers can combat demons. Even Templars are trained for that. Cole may be "unique" but he was still susceptible to the Litany. He let Cole go through his entire catchphrase and did not end him. That's shameful, tbh.

I added a little to the bottom of my post. About how Cole chooses when to be known. He always has the advantage.

I don't think setting the lyrium aflame in Cole's non existent blood would have helped.

The confirmed seeker abilities seem fairly out of place combating demons period.

For Lambert to beat him, he has to know Cole is coming or even exists. Which takes unknown magic. Because even the Inquisition can't do it. Cole chooses when to be known and who he wants to kill. You're here at his luxury. lol

She's just as good with them. Just don't make her the tank. Make use of her strengths as Templar/support and DPS.

Seekers also have all the abilities the Templars have. They can fight demons. It's not like the only powers they have are the lyrium related ones. Who do you think taught the Templars in the first place. I'm more upset by the fact Lambert sat through the Cole speaking too him instead of at least lashing out once.

He was banished back to the fade. (Sort of)

Lambert had no reason to suspect an attack.

That's where he goes? 

 

 

Breadmax does have a point though. It's kind of disappointing. Solas says that Templar/Seeker powers reinforce reality. There is a weapon to be used here against Cole. To force him into how humans deal with reality, instead of you reckoning with his own version of it.

 

You just have to get the drop on him. And seeing that he's an accomplished assassin and not just magic based, that's not so easy.

Cole would have easily lost then... and I guess that's not interesting for the story. Lambert is supposed to be a badass, in his element. He makes easy work of mages and templars alike. The only way to conclude the story is some unpredictable magic shite. Because nothing else will, outside of sending a whole squad of people after him.

Lambert basically laughs when Evangeline, Rhys, and Wynne face him. If I recall right. I think in gaming terms, he's supposed to be elite boss level or something. Heh.. Probably the only person he fears is his ex-friend, the black divine. Cole, at least at that point, is a one trick pony.

 

But he wins in true rogue fashion. A cheap shot.

You can still come here all you want. I don't say things to change your opinion or persuade you. I simply don't like it. As Cassandra says "Deal with it." I myself "deal" with the fact that I share this game with a bunch of freaks.

 

But find comfort in the fact that it doesn't matter. I don't make that big deal of myself. You shouldn't either. :D
