Well, it's good to see Leliana's taking it so well...

I don't think Leliana would ever threaten the Inquisitor. She was the Left Hand, her job is to follow.

You know this does beg the question of if the 'Qunari Inquisitor' became Divine since they are a Tal-Vashoth...and thus not a member of the Qun, and since the Divine is elected by other members of the Chantry...then why would Cassandra and Leilianna be so...peeved here?  He would have to be a member of the faithful, or at least sympathetic to be elected to such a position in the first place.  Unless they just blugeonged their way in, and if that was the case then why not take over and say heck to the Chantry, and not become Divine but grand ruler of the Universe or something?

I'm glad they cut it out though. It's disgusting. The Qunari already are set on raping everything else in this world. No need to overdo it.

I'm glad they cut it because it makes no frickin sense.  WHY would a heretic want to be called 'Divine' In the first place rather then just chucking everything out and starting all over with their religion and then, if they are of a mind, to rule by force?  It makes no logical sense for anyone, let alone a Qunari, to proceed in such a manner, because even if they did it to want power...and then get power...all of the low minded peasents, the Chantry sisters, and everyone else would be suspicious of a Qunari in the role of Divine and would likely rise up and they would just have to do more blugeoning.  It would be hard enough for a benovelant Chantry supporting Qunari to gain the acceptance of the entire populace of the faithful...but one who is a 'heretic' hardly.  Let alone Cassandra and Leilianna would not be there crying but would rise up and join the revolution.

True, but how would you approach Rift Jesus if s/he suddenly showed an interest in a close friend of yours? Everything we think we know about people becomes irrelevant when the possibility opens for someone we care for to get hurt.

And it's clear Leliana's relationship with Josephine is one akin to a big sister... I think Leliana reacts in the only way she knows how.

Taking it personally would be a mistake.

For the lulz, I guess. To be humiliating and dominating. It's the only kind of motivation I'd ascribe to someone who'd actually want to do this. There are no good intentions there.. so I'm glad they don't cater to that.

 

It's even lamer than Corypheus... lol. He actually has some good intentions, funnily enough.

So did Anakin Skywalker...wait I did not mean to compare the two by saying they are both pathetic and whiny.  Its just that most evil people do rather have good intentions, bringing order to a world gone mad.  Tends not to work out unless you are God...as in started off that way and not trying to become one.

I was actually a fan.  From what I have seen of the game so far BioWare's biggest sin is not giving him more screen time and time to develop himself and thus he comes off as being shallow and uninteresting, but he could have been very much the opposite, and as I said...I'm a fan even of his brief appearance but he could have been so much more.

Luckily I give two shits about very little. My inquisitor always says he's on bad terms with his family, which is true. She can do what she wants, but I'll have my blood. She doesn't have **** on me. I'm her boss. Whose cootch I'm dusting is none of her business. She's just mad that she got dumped for Morrigan, lol.

It's more that the Qunari aren't real and neither is the anything else in DA, so we don't get why you care so much. The writers aren't going to single out one race to get **** on, so why do you expect any less access being given to the Qunari Inquisitor than any other one?
