Yep, that's exactly what Cassandra did.

What you people actually do doesn't matter.
You don't seem to understand. I'm not here to change your game. I'm fine with just the hate, on it's own. ![]()

^Almost too funny. It's the only way it works. The only time I see something positive about people's Qunari's characters, it's when something goofy is happening. Excuse me when I don't include sex in that though. Or people who make jokes about women getting impaled by a "bull's ****". Or how they're so much better for her than that "f*ggot mage" (something I read about Regalyan). This totally kills my buzz.
It's one thing to hear hate for favorite characters..that's nothing. It's another thing to hear that kind of crap. I suddenly got my hate on about other players... but the truth is, I'm also sad. I was a big fan of Cassandra's.. I still am. If anyone wants to get mad at me, just remember that. ![]()
The fact that such hatred is given to Qunari inquisitors makes me playing a qunari inquisitor so much more satisfying. I'll play the game and romance Cass as one and do it with the knowledge that it will anger you. Qunari inquisitor is best inquisitor
I mean, hey do what you want in your game, so long as you know that's kinda pathetic
I don't like racists, real live racists. But I'm certainly not going to make my Quizzy black and sleep with Cass just to ****** them off. No one cares, it doesn't "anger" me. You'll be the one playing a character simply because you think it pisses someone off.
And since the truth is very few care... that's rather sad.
Lol.

I don't even care about this dude, but I would spare him from playing that just for his own sake. I mean, who the **** wants to play DAI just to spite ME? lol. That would get boring pretty quick. I'm not that interesting. ![]()
As I said, I'm a big fan of Cass. If you want to romance her, do it because you LIKE her. Not because of what you can do to me.. or you think you can do to her, for that matter. But because you enjoy her role in this.

Speaking of Qunari, I was disappointed that they cannot look anywhere near as cool as those from the concept art or DA II. There is something that is missing that I cannot put my finger upon. ![]()
I mean, I was really hoping to make an Arishok-looking Inquisitor as demonstrated here:

But alas, game development. ![]()
Anyway, to stay on topic, am I the only person here who has noticed parallels between Cassandra and Miranda with regards to their roles in DA:I and ME2?

The females do. Even though we didn't see them in DA2. They just have that sleeker look.
Although I see that people have trouble with them in CC apparently.

Hell ****** no. Because Miranda sucks eggs and has nothing on her.
Of course, there are similarities, but I'd rather not acknowledge them. Not with my Cassandra and that horse they call an operative.
How about we share our, "Shall we read another?" screenshots.

Cassandra is more likeable to me as another leader/second in command/what have you. If she wasn't such a Believer in the Herald thing, she'd be the Inquisitor herself. I guess it depends where you're coming from. I happen to like her Chantry principles way more than Cerberus. Some people hate the Chantry, so maybe she's more like Miranda to them. I was more a Jack fan in Mass Effect, and saw my Shepard as another guinea pig like Jack.
Cassandra would never be Inquisitor. If she wasn't after a good 4 years, that was never going to happen. Besides, Leliana and her share the same rank and privileges. It's not like Cass would have it by default, and it's not like anyone of the other advisors would let her. She doesn't even like you, which she tells you, until the second act, and actually hated the idea of your leading them. Plenty of time to take the title, and it never happens.

Did you have low approval or something? She never tells me that. She said she admired me and wondered how I made decisions easier than her.
In any case, I'm saying WHAT I THINK about her.
I know people like their protagonists usually, but I think the Inquisitor is the least interesting character in this game.
I had a thought (Apologies if it has already been discussed earlier)
We know that if Cassandra Becomes the new Divine it kinda puts a stop sign on her romantic relationship with the Inquisitor.
But what if she appointed the inquisitor as her own Right Hand of the Divine?
I know she is a duty first kinda gal, but I think it would be a awesome way to develop the relationship so they can still in some way be together.
(I'm in denial & I'm going down with this ship)
I actually agree, being her right hand would be awesome.
LOL and then people would make jokes about how the divine pleasures herself with her right hand.

Did you just ask if I had low approval with the waifu? Plus I'm pretty sure the conversation is approval gated.
Anyway, after she says that, she finishes with talking about if someone had told her she'd be happy for the Herald to lead them, she would have "throttled" them.
Point is, Cassandra would never become Inquisitor. She knows that. The advisors know that. Giselle knows that. The whole point of Dragon Age 2 was to find Hawke and make them Inquisitor.

It won't happen because that would make the Inquisitor join the Chantry, instead of just being in service to it. BioWare has to at least pretend that the Inquisition is neutral.

I know that's how the story is written.
..
Sigh.
We're not going to get into a two page derail where you willfully misunderstand something and drag the thread down. I'm going to clear this up. I said it's what I think. What I ****** think. I didn't say she'd be the Inquisitor for ALL of you. It's just an opinion on her. So kindly **** off. Don't respond to me about this again. Because I know how you are now with little things like this. ![]()

Which is the biggest joke known to man. Practically anyone could get that job, lol. Zevran even. LOL.

Sadly true.
Ideally though, I think she's a good fit simply for the Seeker, Chantry based hardass interrogator thing going on.
It's how I envision a cool Inquisitor already. Not some other random b.s.
*snip*
An example of an overreaction.

Hakwe>you, tbh. I asked the advisors, they say they'd trade you out no question. Pretty much all of them hate you, and hope you go apeshit insane so they have an excuse to kill you.

No it isn't. I see where it can head. I know your style now. You're a conniving little ****. And I think you have fun with it.
