Your presence kills my mood. Because there's one thing common with you Qunari fans. Male ones at least. You never talk about Cassandra. You talk about the novelty of your own characters, and the anthropomorphic aspect of it. Everything that makes the romance arc down to earth and "human". you gloss over. And the whole game gets reduced to how she's getting on with a some bull. If any of you could start taking like actual men, you'd win me over. Female Qunari don't do this.. they don't get off on the weirdness of it. They just like being tall and cool looking. They still see their characters as women.

My Qunari genuinely loves Cass.  He WANTs to be with her until the end of time.  That's why I refuse to make her the next Divine.  Apparently, that makes me a player.

I have a friend that really really hates them, but it's Qun Qunari due to their close ties with Muslims and Communists.

 

I admire their strength and willpower.

Are you serious? I do want to talk about it... I really would like to know what's so appealing. And I'd really like to see Qunari players roleplay and not just get into the freakish novelty of it all. I've gotten to the point where I'm quick to judge, because I see evidence of the opposite. 

I have probably put more thought into my first Qunari roll than you have into your hypothetical first born child.  That is how I roleplay. 

 

Wish Mary Kirby would get back to me on that question I asked her concerning naming conventions though....

As a race I'm honestly neutral. Race caries nothing but the horns on their heads. It's their Qun and their threat to Andrastian Thedas that will guide my sword to their necks. That said, I respect them as enemies and worthy adversaries.
