I have probably put more thought into my first Qunari roll than you have into your hypothetical first born child.  That is how I roleplay. 

 

Wish Mary Kirby would get back to me on that question I asked her concerning naming conventions though....

Look.. lets just say I had NEVER even given this a thought before release. The game finally came out and I was enjoying the hell out of it (and teaming with Cassandra).. then I watched youtube videos, read comments on the net, and I found so many pigs getting off on the Qunari thing. I've quoted enough things before on what I've read, but it doesn't matter. Point is, I've been indulging my hatred ever since. Killed my buzz completely. I don't know how to get over it anymore.

He's actually a drunk, if I recall correctly. Really shouldn't listen to his opinion anyway, since he proudly dresses like a cow.

Actually if I were romancing Cassandra, I'd run a qunari for her. Mage, even. And I'd do my darndest to make Cass Divine. He belongs nowhere. Even though he's Andrastian, the humans distrust him. But Cassandra wants to help "the least of these" without frightening him the way Leliana does. He loves her for that piety and that faith that admits doubt. But when the time comes, he'd let her go because he believes in her work. And it's more important than his happiness.

Show some respect, it's exceedingly difficult to get drunk when you're literally just a pile of fleshy jello, jiggling around.

Look, to be serious, I think it can be valid. I just feel the demand for good roleplay seems higher. And the temptation to make it grotesque easy. They've opened a door for the worst kind of players. Good roleplayers are a minority as it is. That's all I'll say.

It's not my game either. I've said before I don't care to change it. I'm under no illusion there. The only power I have is expressing an opinion (or in this case, a hateful opinion). I have the power to move beyond that opinion too, but I'm finding it extremely difficult. Your jokes are helping though....
