Haha.. I'm pushing 40. I'm hope I'm not ancient. I'm Cassandra's age, I think (just turned 37).

Eh, Loghain's still enjoying Hot Dad status in his 60s. I think you've got a ways to go!

I role play my character at least between the age of 21-25(I'm 20, so I wanted my character around my age). Does that make Cassandra an cougar, lol :P !?

Technically yeah. That's pretty young character.

After a certain age though, it wouldn't matter.

Reminds me.. I was reading a funny article about Hugh Jackman recently.. His wife is 58 and he's 45. She was pissed that people called her "lucky".

I think that happens a lot when an older woman is in a relationship with a younger man. There's always some ******* who feels the need to say, "congratulations, someone wants you even though you're oooold (and thus, undesirable)!"

Happens the other way, too. My dad's got 23 years on his wife and they've had to deal with their share of obnoxious comments from people whose opinions are neither sought nor valued.

Haha, I'd take it as a compliment that she can still get that young D. Young for her anyway.

I wouldn't mind hitting up an older woman. Older women are friggin sexy and mature. And experienced. I suppose that's why my characters tend to be in their late thirties at least. Was kinda disappointed I was stuck with a complete child or a gross sloot in DA 2, lol. I got over it though.

By older, I don't mean 58 though, lol. I'm 22 so that'd be too much for me.

Yea, who you love and or are attracted to is really no one's business. You're the one that has to deal with the age gap, so if you don't have anything to say about it, other people damn well shouldn't either.

Sometimes you don't know what kind of "experience" they've had...

The oldest for me was 12 years older. What's funny is that later on I found she had photos of herself younger -- one with Gene freaking Simmons. And another sitting in Charlie Sheen's lap. lol

Not kidding. That's a little too much for me. I think she used to be a groupie or something.

Hahaha, that's awesome  You're dipping into the same pool as Gene freaking Simmons and Charlie Tiger Blood Sheen! I'd dip in a second no hesitation.

If you're in your thirties or higher, you're just gonna have to accept that most women your age have likely been around a bit, or a lot. No big deal, as long as they're loyal with you, and it doesn't come up much. And they have no diseases. Don't ask, don't tell works well with me.

So. Question- I am now heading to Adamant Fortress and am thinking about taking Cassandra. Is she any fun to have around in the Fade, or should I pick someone else?

She's a must for me, because of the Divine being there. I liked what she said about the spiders too. That was interesting.

And yet I fantasize about women like Cass. I don't know what that says about me.

@Yermogi. Cass is a mainstay. Good to take anywhere.

You should bring Cassandra, Solas, Varric or Cole.

Cass will comment about certain someone during and after fade while Varric will have an interaction with Hawke. Solas and Cole will provide you detail on fade.

That you have your preferences and standards. Nothing wrong with that. There are still women out there that are more careful on principle, but I just keep in mind that in that age range, if a woman is still single, it's just unrealistic to think that they'd been alone for long periods of time through their prime. They like sex as much as we do, and with them, it's more emotional and about company compared to men. It's just expecting a lot I think for most women to be more reserved for so long.

But like I said, nothing wrong with wanting someone with less experience at all I think, so long as it's not something that gets in the way if you already liked someone.

My mother's 42 and has only been with like five men her whole life and has been single for a long time, so it's not like it's a rare thing to find.

Is it decided that the spirit is Justinia. They have different clothing silhouettes. Just the same hat.

I don't know its just that I know I am very, very, very, fond of Cassandra myself.  I think BioWare has somehow managed to craft the perfect woman for me, principled, a little girly, yet still strong enough to bench press me then throw me over the moon.

It's not decided, no. Could be the spirit of Andraste taking her form for all we know. She never says she's actually her with a straight answer.

That's what I thought.

Bioware's sticking to their guns. It's always going to revolve around Faith.

And I didn't even know that would be my 'perfect woman'.  Also a little odd admitting this on an open forum.

And she has a sense of humor too.

That's been my fantasy I think since Xena the warrior princes  Except that outfit. I can't stand boob plate and whatnot. Very glad they gave Cass some real armor.

To be fair, they've tapped into the tough woman thing before.. just not in this way, where it never fails. I was a big fan of Jack.. and even Ashley to an extent.. but I know why they aren't liked by some.

Funnily, I read before this that Gaider wished he could've written Jack or Ashley. I think he's one upped that.
