I'm fucked then because I don't even have the latest patch yet. Too many people saying it broke their games, and a friend of mine's character even turned into an old lady... They have quick fixes n' junk, but I'm still paranoid. I had a lot of issues even without that and recently got DA I to finally work more or less as it was intended. I don't want to download anything unless I'm assured the **** works, which hasn't happened yet.

 

Patch hasn't bothered me much, and the hotfix they added soon after helped.

i play on lower graphic settings because i play on a laptop, and it helped a lot.

Also, it's a shock to hear Cassandra say "Andraste's ******!". Not bad, but she's the last person you would expect to swear like that.

It's really hard to get low approval with companions, especially one with this much common sense.

I'm asking around a bit now, since I see that the devs did some more tweaks. I'd like that new patch, but I want to be careful.

Though frankly it's ridiculous to have a woman who probably spent the better part of 20 years on the back of a horse be afraid of horses. How'd she get around Thedas? The only ways to get around are walking and horseback.

Not like them? Maybe. Be scared/apprehensive of them? Ridiculous.

I have a completely legit phobia of boiling water, yet I deal with the kettle most mornings to make my coffee.

Cassandra is a very determined and driven person, finding aspects of horses intimidating but never letting it show or be relevant fits her character. I mean, she's a sucker for smutty literature and loves all things romantic, but from the outside you'd never guess it. She’s always what she needs to be, when she needs to be it.

I like common sense, hence I like Cassandra and agree with her on most things. I've tried, but I just can't play a character that think's otherwise.

I don't know its just that I know I am very, very, very, fond of Cassandra myself.  I think BioWare has somehow managed to craft the perfect woman for me, principled, a little girly, yet still strong enough to bench press me then throw me over the moon.

So provided Tevinter is one of the northern nations we visit in the next game, I wonder now if Cass will be there given the comment at the end of the video. You'd think not, given she can become divine or rebuild the seekers/stay with the inquisition but who knows. Perhaps it's just a comment and nothing more. Personally I hope for an all new cast.

Not sure there is more of her to explorer... her back story and how she become seeker is in animation while more detail of her past is in inquisition and it's not really much interesting or could go further.

beside she is candidate for divine as well. I think the most you can expected are her cameo like Alistair in DA2, the divine visit navarra or if she isn't divine, leading an operation of seeker or inquisition force depending on your choice.

Agreed. I don't think there is much left for her. As I said it's probably just a comment, nothing more. There are 3 different ways her story can end in DAI. I just found it interesting. Even the fact that it looks like you were able to spar with her. Hopefully some of this content is going to be among the things Bioware intends to add post launch.

I would be surprised but not shocked if Cassandra came back. She seems like a relatively well received character across the board. I mean, Leliana came back and it's not like we got a lot of new background info about her.

I think the whole divine thing would be an obstacle but not an insuperable one; after all, Leliana came back from the dead, which you'd think would be a much larger obstacle,
