I kind of get the impression that DA2 sort of proved to Varric that Cassandra isn't out for war or vengeance, she just wants to stop the mess that started in Kirkwall before more people get hurt.
I don't think that the Inquisitor's relationship with Varric is going to be as "buddy buddy" as the one he had with Hawke, at least not at first. He's more of a man of the people, and based on the Crestwood decision he's not too big on "the ends justify the means".

Yeah I see her as being tough, but the bluster is more of a sheild? I think she is actually a deep caring person, but also very renegade. I hope she isnt going to be the opposition on all the "good choices" Aka: Mage freedom, Elf rights, and so on.

Im a guy, that I would like... cause merrill was my da 2 romance... just couldnt bring myself to get sloppy seconds from zevran and the warden

 

however all the cassandra getting rescued by guys and her rescuing one of my least favorite characters in da 2 angers us (especially cullen)

Of course. After all, the Inquisitor is going to be the Nick Fury of Thedas and the Inquisition SHIELD, so it makes sense to have our own Maria Hill.

I feel Vivienne would be more gender swapped Thor I mean who else can call down the lightning lol. And since she seems more in charge Cass would be Capt America, Quizzy would be Nick Fury since we run the Inquisition, Scribbles would be Maria Hill, Iron Bull as Hulk, Dorian as Iron man especially if he is a Knight enchanter, Sera would be Black widow and Varric Hawkeye

Well none of the characters match, and she is hardly a guy, and she calls down lightning. I am going with Thor, they both even have a manner of formal talking unique to them. Female Thor for the win!
